Also £9.97 at Sainsburys if you don't have a Morrisons nearby. Asda and Tescos are selling it for £12.

Cheers for that, glad I didn't bother driving up there today to take a look now..

I was surprised at how good this film was, and it's about as far away from the dark, edgy thrillers and gritty crime movies that are my usual fare.

I welled up a couple of times!

thanks - just been to Sainsburys for one but too knackered to watch it. Will save it for tomorrow night...

Spotted loads at Morrisons on the Monday evening ... thought I'd check a few reviews on the film before deciding. Went back the Tuesday evening and they were all gone, sold out apparently ...

Will try again tonight or do the Sainsbury trip I guess
*sigh*

Might be worth ringing the store to find out if they get a midweek delivery...I don't work for Morrisons myself but seem to remember some posters on here who mention they get their dvds, games etc twice a week...so worth a phone call instead of another wasted trip I reckon.

Hope you get a copy soon..

I GOT ONE!! *Whohoo* ... stopped in at Sainsburys this morning on the way into the office. It was the very last one on the shelf. :)

The dvd is marked as £9.97 but rings up as £9.75 because of the VAT reduction. Well chuffed

WRT Morrison stock, I did try again last night and still nothing, they did say they'd be getting more in, but in my past experience, by the time the new stock does arrive it is back up to the normal price. Luck of the draw I guess. No matter, I still love 'em :p

I pay more sometimes depending how much I want it. Anyhow, these are some of my reasons:

* To add to my vast collection :) (Which is getting seriously large at the moment 400+)
* It's far cheaper and convenient than going to the cinema for us
* Can't be bothered to d/load them. The quality of some I have seen can be pretty poor, sometimes even broken at the end. (Won't get into a it's a right or wrong to do debate, each to there own. I've done it, I don't like doing it so prefer not to if anything)
* Good to watch again a few months later too (It's amazing tho how the kids watch some over and over :p )

I haven't voted either way, but can I just ask why I shouldn't vote cold because I didn't like the film? People are saying that sort of thing a lot on HUKD recently and it doesn't make any sense. £10 is a bad price for something that you don't think is that good. Price elasticity of demand is a very simple concept and shouldn't be ruled out of voting on HUKD - indeed it should be an integral part.

£10 for any DVD is steep if you ask me, whether it's a great film or a rubbish one.

Agree that £10 can be a lot for a movie ... and agree with your reasoning there, the point of HUKD should be that if it was the cheapest available at the time then it should in fairness be voted hot.
Wether the movie is good or bad should be irrelevant to voting. If a person doesn't like the movie or refuses to see the movie for what ever reason then in my opinion they shouldnt really vote either way. That's the way I see it at least.

Then again, it's your vote to do with with whatever you want regardless :)

Looking to buy this so will visit Morrisons this pm!

This is actually a nicer movie than i had imagined. (Definately better than that garbage porn/nazi/ohpoorjews "romance", emotionally stinted trash THE READER starring "i have my vag and tits out in very flick - call me an artist" kate winslet).

I didn't know whom i desired more in the flick, nicole kidman or hugh jackman.

i always wanted to watch this movie but i am not paying £10 for it especially that it is 5 months old. I cant understand why people are excited about it and making trips to supermarkets to buy a DVD for £10...give it few weeks and you will get it from HMV for £2.99 or even for a pound at a carboot near you

great film, saw it while going on holiday, last month

This deal is over a week old and I haven't been back to Morrisons since I posted it, so please feel free to expire if the price has gone up...
