Fossil has been very successful with its own brands and this success has led to companies coming to Fossil to create licensed watch lines. The licensed watch lines that Fossil designs, manufactures, and distributes include Burberry, DKNY, Emporio Armani, Columbia Sportswear, Diesel, Frank Gehry, Philippe Starck, Michael Kors, Callaway Golf, Davis Cup, Marc Jacobs and Adidas. When referencing Fossil's watch lines, they are generally regarded as a "manufacturer"; However, Fossil only assembles watches, using pre-made movements and only designing the cases and dials of the watch

Still a nice looking watch for less than £60 and you won't have to buy replacement batteries for it.

I think its hot.

Have had a Fossil for about 2 years now, great looking watch and has worked perfectly, the self-winding mechanism seems to always keep it fully wound. I got mine half price as it was end-of-line but was still about £50. They also come with a decent guarantee on the movement.

I like it, if it was someones birthday I think that'd be a great gift.

Cold. This watch is worth 10 pounds tops! In this price range I'd rather buy Seiko.

"Automatic" watches are always more hassle than they are worth. Leave them by the bed for a day and they stop!. if you are wanting a hassle free watch get a casio solar waveceptor .

I personally wouldn't pay over £30 for a fossil watch, maybe as it has self winding i would go to £40 but that would be it, i'm a watch brand snob though as i know i woudl pay mroe for the same watch with a different name on it... :)

Watches are like cigars, the most expensive ones are not always the ones you enjoy the most

Can someone explain what an automatic is? Also, whats the score with the +/- dial at the top?

An automatic watch is a mechanical watch, whose mainspring is wound automatically by the natural motion of the wearer's arm,
the +/- dial at the top is to show how much power the watch currently has

Nice one. Went to the Fossil shop in the Trafford Centre last night. They has similar versions for around £125.

Also, MB's top tip: all sunglasses in there were half price.

How long does it last when it's been left on the desk just after a full winding? My Seiko kinetic last almost 2 weeks at full charge while my citizen eco drive lasts 6 months!

You'd be lucky to get 2 days out of the full wind on this.
