Knowing my stupid animal it will probably break into and eat all of them then die :|

No, thats just the cycle, you could open it 4 times in that 8hr period. Or choose the 12 or 24hr period.

At least thats what I think.......no cat eats at 8hr intervals usually...............and definitely not 12 and 24 hour intervals.

Dunno mate need to get somebody to confirm for sure ive noticed a few on ebay £30+ :? might ask them a question. If we give our cat a full dish he will scoff the lot and then barf most of it up later so if we could set it for evry 2-3 hrs over the 8 hr cycle that would be great

I'm hoping that's the case as I want to set it for in the night when the my cats 'friend' comes in and eats all his nightime food in one go and thus coming in to wake me every few hours.

Would this work for twin eight year old daughters who seem permanently hungry and keep asking me to sort them out 'a quick snack'??

Wire the cupboard door handles up to the mains, much more effective.

Doesn't look like it would be much use for fish. Come to think of it it doesn't specify whether it's for a hamster or a horse.

Can be set 4 times to open during 8,12 or 24 hr period.

Nice price, but not big enough for my dog, only really useful for cats based on the size of the food compartments.

Well lads i went and bought this from Maplins but its useless !
Its not the same as this one http://www.andrewjamesworldwide.com/Product.asp?Product=pet1c this has an LCD clock so you can open at set times during any time period.
The Maplin one will only open at 8hr or 12hr intervals so its going back.
