Seems to be a genuine cable, handy to keep in the car or simply as a back-up. It looks identical to the ones I got with my galaxy TABs. < see EDIT below > -Genuine Samsung branded accessory -I…

Someone has commented its 98cm long
Thanks Predikuesi
That's really interesting, I (genuinely ;) ) didn't realise that. Title amended and edit added.

It can't be right that they put a picture of the genuine product on and advertise it as a genuine samsung branded accessory but sell something else surely ? I'm not sure how they get away with that.

For £1.90 delivered, I'm happy to take a chance for a spare. I've bought a few 'very cheap' audio, pc, apple and charger cables from Amazon and whilst the quality has been questionable, in my experience they have generally been fine for occasional use.

I got one off eBay for £1.29. It came from Hong Kong. It's shorter, much shorter than the one shown here, but it works just fine! It doesn't say "Samsung" on it; it simply has an icon so you know which way is the front of it. I believe I bought it from this supplier: soonhua_digital
People get a bit too obsessed with branded articles. Mr Samsung isn't sitting in Korea making his own cables; instead they are made on their behalf in sweatshops throughout Asia. In the same way that the very expensive Kurt Geiger isn't sitting their with a trusty Singer sewing machine, running up the very expensive shirts he sells with his name on. No, they're all made in the same sweatshops in Asia that the cheaper , and just as well made, Asda & Primark products.

It's listed as a genuine samsung branded accessory in the Amazon description... ?

It only means that the cable is genuine not that it is a real Samsung one. It is confusing, but eBay sellers, which I bet this seller is one too, do exactly the same thing with their wording to trick people. If it's too good to be true ....

Just to let you know that the "Samsung" branding is genuine, but the cable isn't. I suspect that these fake cables will cause the adapter to overheat and slow the charge time. I noticed this happening to a cheap cable I foolishly bought.

Not greedy, i put them on my eBay shop.

It is greedy and I do hope you declare your profits to HMRC although I'd put money on that you don't.

No I don't.

Now you've said that, I hope they're fakes.

Meany.

the link picture shows a class 4 card, but the description is for class 2. anyone know which one you'd get if you ordered?

good price if it's for the sandisk class 4 16gb for £6.62. but make sure you choose the traditional packaging option if you decide to order. there are 2 packaging options available, the other option is for amazon frustration free - if you choose this the price is shown as a whopping £24.99!

so beware, especially if you use the 1 click ordering
I'd buy Kingston but my Raspberry Pi doesn't like the 16GB ones so this is a good deal for a different brand.

Thanks op ordered

do you understand what lifetime warranty is and what SD card classes are?obviously not.

If I was fussed about speed. I'd get a class 10. Even in 5.years time 16Gb will be pointlessly small. Hope you enjoy your 8p saving though...

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B0013AV9TW/ref=sr_1_1_olp?ie=UTF8&qid=1339809739&sr=8-1&condition=new

cheaper, faster, lifetime warranty AND being sold on amazon (bentham).

you still want to get Sandisk? well, can't help with that...
