Probably because you can purchase through Amazon from MyMemory on the same link for £14.89? (Click on new & used).

Or you can purchase the Avantalk model direct from Mymemory for £13.99 (They appear to be exactly the same thing?).

I purchased the Avantalk a couple of weeks ago on a special deal of the day at £11.99.

I am very pleased with it. It fits/sits well on the visor and works well, although I only use for incoming calls as outgoing calls wait until I am not driving. Audio is very clear and I don't get the complaints I used to get from callers about sound quality when I used. Sony unit. :D

Probably a good price but glad I bought 2 of them from Tesco for £5 each earlier this year. I can vouch for how well they work.

Avantree are excellent. Had a few friends that said how clear this was when talking to them so they ended up getting the same. Battery lasts a couple of months I find also. Had mine over a year

How loud is the volume of the incoming caller? I have bought a few other makes and all ended in the bin, as volume of caller was so low.

It is the Avantalk I have purchased direct from My Memory and it is plenty loud enough.

I have used this type of item in the past, and they have all been total garbage.
Looks like, from all the comments in this thread, this unit is particularly good.
The tech in these items must have moved on quite considerably.

Following on from my earlier comments regards the Avantalk unit I purchased from MyMemory, having looked at it, it is in fact an Avantree unit, branded as such, as is all of the packaging and documentation. I have no idea why it is listed as Avantalk?

I should mention that having now bothered to see how to dial out, the unit works really well with Siri and is in effect no different from using Siri minus the unit.

Anyway, £13.99 delivered and there will be cashback to be had too.
