Avatar is the story of ex-Marine Jake, a paraplegic war veteran, who finds himself thrust into hostilities on a distant planet filled with exotic life forms, Pandora. As an Avatar, a human consciousness in an alien body, he finds himself torn between two worlds in a desperate fight for his own survival and that of the indigenous people. Those from Earth find themselves at odds with each other and the local culture.

No, and not the only Cameron film that was way overrated either.

Great deal, cack film with no substance and cheesy dialogue (No surprise there, its a James Cameron)

Blu-Ray in front room, DVD in bedroom. Or give the DVD to a relative, like i do.

Yeah, seems a bit pointless... I guess if you only have a DVD player at the moment, but think you might get a BR player in the future, worth spending a few extra quid.

Or you could give the DVD away to your DVD player owning chums...

Seems a good deal, ordered + heat and rep added!

Might sound like a stupid question but do I have to own a 3d TV to watch this in 3D or does it comes with some 3Dglasses. Or is it just the non-3D version?
#25
Voted hot: paid £9.99 for the DVD alone at Play.
Great film, great effects, not overdone like many 3D films.
I'm a great fan of James Cameron, he's always so thorough.
Won't be a patch on the proper cinema version though, unfortunately.

Beats the Play deal in a way as you can get it for just a bit more than £9.99 without any slightly dodgy activity.

Tesco Entertainment are a bit slow though.
