Shows as £23.00 on the site?!
#4
Is this the 3D version? If not when is that out?

Not the 3D version, good luck getting that for 8 quid.

Panasonic had the sole rights to that although I think that promotion has come to an end so was chalked up for release in the next month or so.

If you want it now be prepared to pay around £40-50 on fleabay.

Its £23 on mobile site as the cache hasn't updated yet.

Click 'full site' on the intial page and you'll see it at that price.

Cold as it's HMV.

Expect order cancellations.

As the saying goes - if it sounds too good to be true then it's probably an HMV **** up!

You sure that was not the standard Blu-Ray Edition, as this deal is for the 3 Disc Extended Collectors Edition.

It's also £8.99 at Sainsbutys Entertainment online, so the £8 price at HMV is probably right.

Avatar on Sky 3D won't compare to the bluray version due to the way 3D is broadcasted, resulting in a fair loss of resolution.
#19
Excellent find o.p. Cheapest yet me thinks. Well done.

Great price. Thanks.

I assume that SBS 3D coupled with a passive 3D TV is literally the worst combination. SBS restricts each eye's picture to half the horizontal 1920 resolution and then the passive TV takes those two horizontally-compressed pictures and reduces their vertical resolution to 540 each. Am I right?

What's the point of having the "best" version of the film along with two that are not so good? Voted hot as it's a great price even if you don't want to sit through all three.

What's the point in not having all three if it doesn't cost any more? Have a think about that one, friend!

I bought this off a seller - I know you got to be carefull but £12' odd ain't going to hurt, lol the 'copy' works fine with my 3D glasses on ;)
#37
I was holding out for the 3d but I'd put money on that release not including these extras, forcing people to double dip. I downloaded a 3d rip ages ago so think I'll just go for this version, loyalty is rarely rewarded nowadays.
#38
I have the free 3D bluray. Its OK.:p
#39
This is a super set. The extras and documentary's on the set are immense.
#40
does anyone know whether the future 3D release will included all the contents from this CE?
