This is great stuff for eczema, currently using it on my son and wish it was around 8 years ago when my first child had eczema too as it works really well. This is also available on prescription so if it works for you then it might be worth a trip to the docs to get it even cheaper (or even free of course!)

Combines the concentrated goodness of finely milled naturally active colloidal oatmeal with rich emollients:

Clinically proven formula goes beyond 24 hour moisturisation to replenish the skin’s natural barrier function
Significantly improves the condition of dry skin in just 2 weeks.
Absorbs quickly and leaves skin looking and feeling soft, smooth and healthy.

Hand cream, 200ml tubes and other varieties also half price. Free delivery over £25 online and quidco too.

Great price and the lotion is really good for mild eczema

To those who use this, do you know if this product can be applied on the face?
Would it be too "greasy" to do so?

Thanks in advance for any answers.

excllent cream, helps control my sons ezcema without having to use hydrocortisone cream.

Yep I use this for dry skin and pretty good.
Only useful for mild skin complaints I would suggest. Each case of eczema is different to each person so try and find something that works for you - there are no miracle cures I am afraid!

get this on prescription free. very good stuff. last night it said do not use aqueous creams (e45 and the like) as they have detergent in which is actually an irritant. also still dab hydrocortizine cream under the ears if my boy has a flare up. but he is now almost 2 and thankfully he is pretty much clear of it, but still use aveeno every morn and night to keep it that way :)

also used to bath him in in oat water (put oats in a sock and run water through for his bath). this also made quite a difference

I used to do that with my eldest son too..worked well but was bloomin messy! I ended up using a tea strainer instead of a sock which was a bit better. Might try it again with baby no 2, as often the simplest remedies work the best.
