AVG free version has won loads of best free AV awards in all the big PC mags so i see no need to pay for this over the free version as AVG pro is regarded as a very bad paid for AV and i personally wouldn't beg it.

You can get kaspersky for a £5.

No competition. Kaspersky eats most others alive and for £5 it's unbeatable. Lots of debate over free stuff vs paid stuff, but take my word please. Get Kaspersky. Everyone I've recommended it to has done the month free trial, then upgraded to a year for a fiver.

(PM me for details if you can't find how to get it for a fiver.

How did you find this site (and why did you chose to rely on it)? This must be the only web site which lists security software in this order. Avast. ESET, etc. "not recommended"? Who are these people. They mustn't have a clue!

Microsoft security is the way to go. Used to use avg and it's great but the MS one is just so non intrusive and does the job well.

You're going back a bit there aren't you? It's been £10.20 for at least a few weeks(and you need to phone AVG due to the license codes being expired from that item) as have been keeping check of our options seeing as our AVG paid is about to expire.

Seems like a decent enough price to me for 4 users 2 years, the wife likes sticking with what she's used to so will probably go with this at £19.99(+ quidco).

Have some heat, not that it'll thaw these freezing temperatures.

Its non intrusive as they make your OS, however its far from keeping your PC secure or do we need to look at the massive load of updates and backdoors within the M$ OS. The inbuilt security like most things is a liability.

Do a Google search for anti-leak firewall, it's great having a firewall and security suite that will stop malware and attacks getting in, but you need better software to stop malware getting out too, you never know what your downloading until it's too late, take for example the Antispyware 2010 trojan, it's downloaded via adverts on safe sites like ebay and facebook, basic firewalls will not stop the download as it looks just like M$ files. How do you get rid of the Antispyware 2010 trojan? use Malwarebytes .... Outpost uses the same engine as Malwarebytes. Need I say more.
