Putting avg on your comp you might aswell not have sod all on it in the first place.

have used the free avg on the 3 laptops and pc here for several years and have had no probs at all .. and that's with 2 teenage lads downloading everything and nothing :thumbsup:

I guess if you scanned with something else it will pick up what that leave behind, loads say all the time that they have used avg for years and have had no bother, reason is they know no better what it's left behind in the first place.
