Been looking for both car and home insurance after getting 2 hugely inflated renewals through the post from my current insurer.

Done the usual searches and came up with the Aviva deal, they were offering 3 months free car insurance and free content for the home.

It really is free as the car insurance came in £198 cheaper than my renewal on like for like quotes and £64 cheaper than the next cheapest.

Home insurance was offering free content and came in £68 cheaper than renewal and £38 cheaper than the next cheapest.

May not work for everyone but certainly did for me...

Plus quidco of £70 on car insurance and £55 on house insurance plus take out both and get an extra £50 cashback (£25 per product)

How annoying just renewed car and aviva was equal to cheapest including 70 cash back but the other company was lower risk as no cashback tracking risk but today I got the house renewal letter and it probably would have made sense to do the combo deal...

I'm fed up with Quidco - I took out Natwest Home Insuurance with them which promised £60 cashback. It tracked fine, I put the policy number in when asked to verify it, and I've paid the policy on time every month since with no claims - now today it was declined with no explanation. I've sent a query to quidco but I'm not holding my breath. I wish I had gone elsewhere for the insurance.

Had same problem last year with Natwest and Quidco but I re-submitted and all went through fine.

Quidco are really good at sorting problems like this. I had the same issue with the RAC but have now been paid.

I have had insurance cashback declined with quidco too

Car insurance just declined by quidco for Admiral insurance.

In the past 5 years I have had 37% of my Quidco cash back declined & it's getting more & more frequent as the years go on.

My Shielas wheels has been decline. Maybe Quidco needs to sort these companies out. It is clearly a scam.

I've had so many probs with quidco that i've started using topcashback. stuff seems to track much quicker, but i've yet to find out if they honour the tracks yet. saves £5 a year on quidco's admin fee too.
