Sorry to hijack the thread, but does anyone know where to get the games for these at a good price?

Woolworths has some for £12.74 but aren't a lot in stock.

Try argos for the games or toys r us are doing 3 for 2 at the moment and the same at Boots.

Can anyone who's got one tell me how educational these really are, and for what age range? I was thinking of one of these for my 5 year old daughter's Christmas present, but was wondering if it's really just a Nintendo/Playstation for young kids and only lip-service is paid to it being educational.

Would I be better of with one of the 'laptop-style' educational toys you get in Argos?

Woolworths are out of stock of most games but seem to have added a pre-order for Cars at £12.74 (don't know if WW1 discount can be used to make it less)

The reviews I read from folk on Amazon certainly suggest there is a strong educational element.

I wouldn't have ordered one otherwise.

We have one of these and I think they are educational. They are really good fun for the little ones.

We have lots of games and they teach numbers, alphabet, capital and lower case letters, it is brill!!

The ones in Woolworths were out of stock when I last checked for a friend, but Amazon have them in stock for £29.74 and its free super saver delivery!

Thanks for the info bizzyme... she's already fine on numbers, alphabet, capital and lower case letters. Could do with help on reading bigger words, spelling and addition/subtraction. Perhaps I'm better off looking at something other than the consoles... Was thinking of something like this:
