Normal if that's what you call it. You watch her perform her album (live) without any backing track. You can pretty much relate to everything she has been through or you have the same thoughts. She is quite common and swears a lot but she knows it's not to annoy her fans it's just who she is. She is a amazing that is all I can say. Would you be interested in going sometime?

Good singer, but not worth £75 smackers!

Lol. She is amazing...
Why is this a good deal?
I know £75 is a lot for most people, but she really needs that private jet upgrade.
How do you act at an Adele concert? Is it just a bunch of people standing in a crowd all singing, trying to hit the high notes with tears streaming down their face, sending texts to their exes?

[quote=jason21monkey] My wife and i see her in Cardiff Millenium Stadium "sticky and Sweet Tour" in 2009...... she arrived 1 hour late, no apologies to her fans and she also can`t sing live..... worst concert we`ve both seen and our friends said the same. Some poor guys next to us had to leave to catch the last train home, so they missed about an hour of the show because of her lateness. Was a massive fan of hers since the 80`s but was letdown by the £76 ticket and poor performance, never again and all of you beware !
please don't diss the Queen of Pop
sorry.... but i just did :D
Jason - are you THAT Jason - the one who can't sing?
It's funny, isn't it?
Madonna can't sing. Kylie can't sing. Jason can't sing.
They all have horrible, painful nasal voices that make you wish for something better, eg an ant cleaning its claws.
But they all got VERY rich by singing their awful voices at us, not sure why it worked but the 'formula' seems to be successful.[/quot

just being honest and real....... She`s too old now and croaky, oh talking of crokiness

Hot. It's Madonna.
bob99999, I appreciate that you are giddy at the prospect of seeing Madge in the flesh but please stop bumping this thread. Maybe go and grab a hair brush, a mirror and bang on 'Madge's Greatest Hits' on your record player

i nearly fell over when i seen that price

yes although get me in price is exc fees with fees £85-90 per ticket, there are still 4s on axs I just got 4
There will always be tickets become available at face value or less for the big Arena shows, even for the most popular of performers.

I have also found that if you are willing to play a waiting game that front block and even front row seats get released the day before some gigs at around midday (whether they are corporate returns or pre-production seats I'm not sure). In the past (via Ticketmaster) I have managed to get front row (at face value) for big named performers (Madonna/Kylie etc) the day before the concerts.

sorry op, I loved her first 2 albums, but I think she's gone off the boil. I wouldn't pay even a third of this to see her.

Agreed.

'Eh Eh' over 'Applause' any day.
Floor standing £70 LOL such a joke. I have seen loads of bands but have never paid anywhere near this much for one gig. So overrated and overpriced in my opinion.
£90 is really expensive for concert tickets, I paid £45 to go and see Ozzfest (5 artists) in 2010 at that same arena, there is no excuse for charging that much for 1 live artist.

Yep, same here. A bargain! Wasn't quite what I was expecting (no MC on stage between acts or at midnight) but was well worth the price. And I stood up all night :p

The lasers and lighting was crazy. Although I was thinking at the time that they could have had that central lighting rig extend over the entire length of the standing area. Then it would have been totally over the top and mind bending!

Stayed for a few minutes of DJ Slipmatt and then left. Loads of people seemed to leave straight after The Prodigy. Didn't get to hear On a Ragga Tip though :(

The website on the day stated they'd be selling tickets from the Box Office for £70+ booking fee up until 2250 or when sold out. So we definitely got a bargain. No issues with getting home either due to the The Tube running perfectly fine.

Just the way you want to spend new year at a dance event. 100ft in the air in seats that you cannot stand up in.

Given an upgrade to level 1 seats...so £75 seats for £25.64 and with a great view. Happy days :D

It is possible to stand at the level 4 seating. I've seen it happen during a few events I have been to at the O2 Arena.

dirty_stan
Ordered thanks. I know they're high up but I was hoping to go for a couple of hours but couldn't justify spending £65 a ticket but £20 is well worth it!

I haven't seen the Prodigy Live before so for the price I think it is a good deal. The sound is not always great at the O2 Arena. Some events I have been to have sounded rather good there.

No doubt this event they'll have the bass turned up so much that it sounds totally overpowering and distorted :( I reckon that happens at some events because the sound people are going a little deaf X) My ER20 ear plugs usually help to clean up the sound and protect my hearing. They don't distort the sound either.

dirty_stan
Also, my tickets are in block 404, they're not bad tickets, I assumed they would be at the back opposite the stage but they're more to the side. Nice.

I went for the opposite block..think it is 419. There were only 2 blocks at level 4 with tickets for sale when I bought mine. Perhaps they had some returns or just released some seats. Someone was selling level 4 seats on a ticket re-sell website and saying the seats were valued at £70.
