Anyone who managed to order one got a part number for checking to see if any in stores? Worth a phone call I guess.

Just bought one but now have just thought about the digital switchover.
I'm guessing it isn't a digital tuner? Will this item be useless when my region switches over to didital in June?

I think this just means your analogue signal is getting switched off, you are already digital as such

Just had my order canceled.
#23
Just had my confirmation of dispatch.

Just received mine but it's not working - just keeps reporting that there's no signal. Re-connected my old freeview box and that's still working fine so there are definitely no reception issues.

Anybody else having problems with their PVR ?

Have you tried a channel scan yet ? I had the 'no signal' icon on the screen before I did a scan.

Yeah, managed to get it up and running by ditching the instruction manual and going through the menu to do a channel scan.

I'm guessing it mustn't have been reset to factory settings which is why I didn't get a welcome screen when I plugged it in and wasn't prompted to do the normal setup routine (but I still find it strange that it should report "no signal" when it in fact actually means no channels have been stored yet !!!).

Now the only problem is getting to grips with the horrendous channel sequence which I assume is down to the topup TV software: BBC1=801; BBC2=802; ITV1=834 (with lots of redundant channels / adult channels / radio stations in between). Why can't they stick with the regular freeview channel sequence with 1,2,3,4,5 being the "normal" channels, then the adult / chat channels being towards the end of the TV channels, and the radio stations at the very end!!!? The Topup TV line up makes it very difficult to flip up and down the channels without having to skip though "Gay Rabbit" and "Magic FM" and the like to be able to get from BBC2 to ITV1. What makes it worse is apparently there was a software upgrade a while back that got rid of the "favourites" function so you can't even use that to by-pass the pointless channels (I'm referring to the unit I received which is a Digihome DG250DTRA08 - not sure if others received the same model).

I supposed I shouldn't grumble for the price paid, but I REALLY don't like the topup TV channel arrangement - I'd have much preferred a regular freeview PVR with "proper" channel numbers (starting from "1" !!!!) in a "normal" sequence.

Glad you got it up & running. You might wanna try a re-scan though - my channels are all numbered sequentially:
1 = BBC1
2=BBC2
3=ITV
.....etc
I was missing a load of channels on the first scan - the 2nd scan sorted it.

Just did a rescan and guess what - all the channels are now properly numbered. :D:D
It's been something of a chore getting there, but I'm a very happy bunny now everything's working properly, and I've cancelled my return request.

Many thanks for your help and advice. ;)
