It really annoys me when people vote cold without giving a reason.

We are supposed to help each other on HUKD. If you know something we don't know - in other words, why you have voted cold - then please share it with us, so we can all benefit. :x

have some heat from me.
people vote cold to wind others up- it worked!
#6
My theory why everything goes cold immediately is that ebay buyers try to bury good deals before they get chance to surface. It's the only explanation I can think of.

Good theory, probably close, but with the like of this deal ebayer sellers would have a difficult time buying up this deal and reselling given the time frame etc

For the instore deals like this, people might vote it cold to give them a better chance of getting it themselves tommorrow... why vote something hot and make the deal more attractive to everyone else and make it less likely for you to get it.

That'll be why the cold voters are usuaully quiet at the start of a good deal.

(just another theory).

Other people just hate certain shops or products and vote cold based on idiocy. Hot deal, just make sure you pick up the correct tree. Some are still scanning full price (older stock) the £6.30 stuff has a special deal barcode and will scan correctly.

Saw this particular tree yesterday at B&Q and its not worth £5. Butt ugly. Can't believe they tried to sell it at £37.

maybe a good reason to get rid of the cold button and just leave the hot

I bought this at the weekend, it is a 6ft 6" slim tree. And its well worth the £6.43 I paid for it! Its nice and bushy, much better than my old one from homebase, which had started drooping one side. Just to add this was in Great Yarmouth, so at a guess its every store.

This is also in Livingston too.

are they any good? A friend of mine got one from B&Q last week and it was a bit pathetic, but you couldn't tell until you got home as they're already netted up when you buy them.

They're not netted up, they're in a blue box. They really are worth it.

You got my thumbs up for this bargain! heat added!!

People vote cold on here for a number of reasons - and mainly because they believe they have some power. Coupled with the massive number of cliques that exist on here, it's a recipe for disaster for a community like this.

Have some heat.

its a 6ft 6in slim aspen tree, originally sold for £29.98
not going to get much more for £6.44, bargain
