may be the store has screwed up
No I don't think that's the case
They always have discounted tools, homeware, wallpaper etc at cheethamhill B&Q in Manchester- I usually check when I'm there but they throw them in deep containers or trolleys so it takes a century to find anything good
Where have you ever found a Stanley screwdriver brand new at 50p ?

Great deal for me :)
i got it ;)

Warehouse or Supercentre ?
I got it now haha ;)

Think it's a warehouse but not 100%
What other sort of stuff was there Saxo and where in the shop was it? Might pop along at luchtime
B&Q stores will often make massive clearence mark downs for stuff they are not selling at that store so likely just one location.

They had trowels, spirit levels, loads of screwdrivers, stone masonry hammers, normal hammers, tools I dont know much about.....

There was lots of tools in boxes that were yet to be reduced,
as soon as you enter the store through the gates turn left and walk forwards
There should be 3 black stands with loads of tools in them :)

Bargains galore up there. Just had £50 worth of goodies. It's the Warehouse off Kingsway. There were about two more pallets of handtools waiting to be reduced - I'll be going back tonight.
Save some for me Miller, I LOVE buying tools. :p You can never have enough
Hi there

Was this the Big B&Q in Dundee or the little one beside Asda?

Many thanks
I always have a quick look through the reduced items boxes; especially for tools. My local store seems to do rubbish reductions, most of the time you can get a cheaper deal on the aisle end special offers.

Nice find OP, will be all gone by the time I can get there!
not in redditch
hot- my screwdrivers are well past their best
didnt notice anything my my store today...might be store specific, i could do with a few screwdrivers
Chippenham store has discounted stuff. Generally things like a set of tools that are 50% missing or broken reduced from 19.99 to 19.97.
Rolls or random wallpaper, where you only get one roll at a few pence less than retail.
I always look, just in case they've had a brain wave and done a decent reduction.
The big one up beside Toys R Us although it might be worth checking one beside Asda too :)
Good prices but don't be fooled into thinking Stanley=Quality.

Those days are long gone, the Stanley name is just put on cheap Chinese stuff these days.
I've never had any worries buying Stanley products
They're doing kitchen drawer and door fronts at half price.
2 door fronts for £87 LOL
Thanks for the laff B&Q

For a mid-price brand I think Stanley tools stand up to most.....Rolson however : )
They had black crates of markdowns set up at the branch in Mansfield yesterday (not the normal reduced rubbish you see). It was mainly tools. Got the Stanley screwdriver for 50p along with a set of 'Magnusson'? in a case for a few pounds (case slightly damaged). Don't know if they're any good but at those prices I couldn't resist. They also had tape measures, drill bits, spirit levels etc. and it was moving fast!
Got a half-decent measuring tape and a wee panel hammer for three notes each.
These were available yesterday in Coleraine,NI
Got a set of tack removers/pincers for 50p and a decent hammer for £3
Hubby called into the big Dundee store on his way home. He got a few bits and bobs so is a happy boy.

Thanks for posting/.

Going by descriptions given, it seems the OP saw this deal at B&Q Warehouse, Kings Cross Road, Dundee.

Just to save any confusion ;)
