Yep they came out at £8 each for us too-the assistant did tell us that as the doors are reduced to £10 the other offer shouldnt apply(20% off when you buy 5) so just self check out and it will work!

Skins so thin you can see light through them
Been there, done that I advise give them a miss unless they are a temporary measure
#14

Tempted, but the thought of painting quite a lot of doors... do they come with handles or would you have to buy them separately?

the codfather on the high street isn't too expensive, they do fish and chips with mushy peas for £3.50 :giggle:

Nothing wrong with the quality of these doors.
They are made from Jeld Wen and they are the largest maker of these doors in the uk. Most new builds which have this style of door actually have the same doors from Jeld Wen.
However the expanding and shrinking comments are largely down to the way you paint the doors, if you do...
Most people paint the bits they see - the front, back faces and sides as they paint the doors when fitted.
Shame that people forget to paint the top and bottom edges of the door and therefore the moisture content of the door can vary as the door is still unpainted in these areas.
Yes the doors are hardboard pressed doors but the timber around the side still warps and twists due to moisture so switching the central heating on can seriously affect the door if untreated.
As a Joiner for over 15 years I am seeing this same issue time and again and 90% of the time the doors are not painted correctly.
Quality is fine for the door and what do you want for £10. lol

I like a soild door more easy on the eye rather than shape doors!!

These are good doors.

Some of you are snobs lol.

Just about every newbuild under 500k gets a jeldwen moulded panel door.

Deal Not Expired just ordered three now.

It's always the same with these, some people like them (god knows why) and some don't. As someone said 'you pays your money you make your choice'

If you want a piece of tat made from MDF great, not everyone does - a new build is made to make money and sell at the most expensive price with the cheapest components.

Personally I prefer a mortise and tenon made door from a sustainable wood with raised and fielded moulding, and no they haven't expired - not sure who expired them.

Reserved and collected at Crawley, West Sussex. Order printout was £70 for 7 doors (90+ left!). Self checkout at branch charged £56 just as OP said it would. Mrs O had to wait at the store with the last three as max load for our Civic was four at a time. Gave her a chance to swap one that had score marks on it, so check them out carefully before you take them home. Not sure if the TopCashback 3.5% will work as I "lost" the online order and its £70 total, though I did collect the doors reserved in my name. Very Hot Deal, thanks OP. Mods please unexpire. Ah, just seen that's been done. Very prompt, thank you!

A few coates of quality gloss and these doors should be fine.

You also get a wide range of doors similarly priced in Howdens. Trade account or trade friend required of course.

These doors are better value for money than cheap pine doors. But i do agree, some beautifullu crafted m&t solid oak doors make a real real difference.

Rep to you my friend.

Hot - probably cost more for the handles and hinges!

Worked for me today, six doors for £48.

Thank You - Repped.
