B&Q sell the doors off at half price every couple of months....my sister has just fitted out her kitchen with the doors and ran out but they had gone back up to full price. But she was told they would go back down as they do it all the time....and they did so she finished the kitchen off.

My Mum managed to get a load of B&Q kitchen doors last year for £1 each! They're lovely too!

Heat added, just ordered some, thanks v much x

Does this deal come up very often?

B&Q seem to have constant kitchen sales, but £25 for each carcass seems like good value! What would they usually be sold for in a sale?

I bought the £1 doors last autumn and they have been sitting in the garage waiting for me to order the units, I was very pleased when I found them at this price :)

Not sure if and when they would be this cheap or cheaper so grabbed them now

Hey, i work in B&Q and work on the showrooms. I have to say but this is one of the best kitchen sales i have seen for a very long time. They are always sales on and off throughout the year, normally it would just be half price, so £25 for solid ash cabinets is a bargain. The doors are 50% of cooke&lewis, 20% IT doors. You can not buy them from any store, but you can go and see what they are like and order them. There will be a delivery charge if you spend under £400. If you want anymore questions just ask. :)

Hi, i just noticed on the description it says:
additional information
Solid oak applies to doors and drawer fronts only. Other components are colour match melamine

so probably not solid ash :?
suspended#14
Do drawer fronts come with the actual drawers?

Not normally usually drawer fronts are seperate.

It states in the spec of them ... Material: Particleboard
So these aren't solid wood but good value although I doubt the original price is realistic.

I'm about to fit a kitchen and going with howdens, they've also got an october sale on for the next month. Well worth consideration.

I like the carcass's from howdens they are pre assembled and very sturdy.

But the Howdens carcasses are white not ash colour + if not in trade can't buy from Howdens.:whistling:
Also Howdens cabinets use 16mm vertical panels not 18mm as these are.
Last ones I bought from Howdens turned up a bit bashed around so personally I prefer flat-pack as I know I assemble them correctly - Never had any probs:thumbsup:

dimpler- as long as the height of the doors match i.e. Carcass height 900mm, then yes. But beware u will more than likely have to make your own holes on the carcass, but the door already have the 35mm predrilled holes to slot and secure the other part of the hinge.
