YES

Switching power on/off I guess..controls your fancy lights from indoors

Needs no wiring at all as long as you have an outdoor socket. We got 1 at the start of the week. Ideal if you have a gazebo with lights.

In the absence of a pic or technical info can anyone describe what this actually does? Is it not just a glorified extension cable?
