They look good from what I've seen, but I think you have to use their official paint with a specific tub size. I could be wrong, but that's the impression I got.
#5
Yes - you do need specific paint which seems more expensive than the normal paint you would buy. System does look good though.
#6
there was a thread on here a while back about the the paintpods, basically saying they're not very good. someone was saying they had had loads brought back to where they worked. have a look for the thread
#7
With regards to the tiles you say its a 10 pack, covering 1 m2 ?
That works out right with the sizes of the tile stated

But...

The snapshot on this thread here says its a 20 pack ?

So surely that would make it 2 m2 coverage?
If it is 2 m2 then its a steal !!

I think someone also mentioned that although you need the special paint "pods" for the machine you can refill them with cheaper paint.....

I wouldn't do that the cheaper paint just blocks up the paint pod
#13
Yeah, where I work there has only been one back since release and it was because they had tried to refill it with standard emulsion which blocked it. Voiding their warranty of course

the arizona bedroom set is showing as £79

It was in the magazine issue, not online. It was probably three months ago.

I bought one of the paintpod machines a few weeks ago when they were selling them for £49 and the paint for £19.99.
Used it to do the living room a few weeks ago. Overall they are OK and a bargain at £35.
They do not paint anywhere as fast as the bloke does in the advert but they are alot faster than the normal roller painting method.
It does take some time working out when to press for more paint because if you press too much your get drips of paint all over and press too little means it takes ages to paint a wall as you have to continue to go over the same spot again and again.
As for cleaning the machine does get rid of alot of the paint from the tube and the roller but you still need to wash it yourself.

Anyone tried the Aqualoc laminate flooring? Need some for the kitchen.
#18
Just been down to get the vacuum cleaner as ours broke the other day. I'm sure it would cost more than £49 to repair my Dyson, so I'm hoping this is a bargain, and not a bucket of ****.
#19
Why are they selling a CO2 detector? It'd get through batteries, seeing as carbon dioxide is constantly present, and isn't really that poisonous. The orchid they have for sale next to it wouldn't last long without carbon dioxide. A carbon monoxide detector would probably be much more useful.

It is a carbon monoxide detector, it is the Fireangel CO-808. Why the call it a CO2 Alarm is obviously a mis-print.

Its okay - pretty much like any of the thin laminate flooring except its more water resistant. We have some in one bathroom, fitted about 2 years ago and its been okay ie no signs of water damage. I wouldn't advise leaving pools of water on it but the odd drip here and there is okay.

got shower enclosures 800x800 For £50
#24
Very poor service though.

They seem to employ idiots.

I try to avoid b&q where possible.

Yeah, I guess I could have just said that instead.
