These are a super deal. Not online, B&Q description is NAT26CUBE 4 Panel shaker cube oak veneer SKU 3727010 size 1981 x 762.
Just purchased 12 from the Gloucester store, they have about 60 in stock.
These are real oak veneer, yes base is chip but then so are any doors less than £150 each.
Closest I have found to these in quality/style have been around £90 each.
762 is 30 inches (2ft 6). Doors are still sold in imperial sizes. 30 inch is a common size for houses built since the 60s but check as they went narrow in the 90s and wider in recent years due to disability regs.
I think they only have this one size, I'm building a house at the moment and these will be perfect. Chippie working with me is astonished at the price and has taken a long lunch to go and buy 20 or so.
Almost all cheap doors look cheap, these are different, they look to be worth at least 5 times the price paid.

Good price if it's the same as this one on their website (which I imagine it is)

Do you know if only that size is reduced? I need 1x27" 3x30" and a 33" :(

Cheers, Des.

don't think its the same ones as the picture in the reply above.
phoned the store and they said they were apromotion and not a price reduction that had just arrived

Title misleading, should read oak veneer and not oak !

OK, edited the title, it was clear in the description. If they were solid oak they would cost about £400 each and also likely bend after a few months to the point they won't close. Doors are one place where veneer gives you the best of both, great to touch but also stay straight.

Just heard they have them in Cheltenham as well, also 60 plus. Might be able to update status of Evesham soon as someone I know is on their way there.

These were 24.99£ two months ago, I was astonished to see them at 19£ during their 15% off weekend. They looks amazing, shame I replaced all my doors recently.
MK store is out of stock at the moment but it worth to wait...
Great deal :)
#11
any one know if it is just the one size reduced? and is any of the others reduced ie. glass panelled versions etc?
#12
can these doors be trimmed down at all as seems all doorways in my home are different

need to take off couple of inches either height or width to make a fit ?

be nice if davidc could let me know as he has some before i travel out to a local store to pick them up.

I would say no. I posted the what I assume to be the same deal last time it was on about 6 months ago and had to return the doors as i needed them trimmed and these are just venere with chipboard inner.

I will say that I have not been to B&Q to check this particular deal

Three comments:

1. You could trim 1" or so from any edge - but it will mess up the hinge locations etc. After trimming, cover the exposed core with a matching glue-on or iron-on veneer strip - you can get real oak strip but it won't be cheap and may bot be exact match. Careful trimming essential if the face side is not to be damaged too - put masking tape over the cut-line area and use a fine-bladed saw (pref a circular saw).

2. I think there are other sized matching doors etc also at clearance price at B&Q - I saw yesterday at Tunbridge Wells what appeared to be a pile of them.

3. Strictly, the Diamond Club discount is not given on kitchen and bathroom units, appliances, etc - but I invariably find it is deducted at the checkout regardless.

Going to give my local B&q a call.

Sorry for slow reply - been busy fitting doors !

OK, up to 2 inches off height would be OK, it would leave the chip exposed top and bottom but for most that's not an issue (only would be if you had a balcony or stairs looking down on open doors).
Options are limited at the side, there is a hardwood strip but it's less than 10mm so you could take a few mm off at most.
Well, you could take more but you would be in the chip and would then need to screw or glue on an oak strip, probably too much work for most.
It might be easier for some of you with odd sized doors to replace the frames - that can be a lot easier than you would think.
Oh, re cutting doors, jigsaw leaves it wobbly, circular saw rips the wood. An electric planer can work but best method is a router with a long bit. Clamp a bit of wood to the door as a guide and take off a few mm at a time (less than the width of the router bit) result is a perfect straight cut.

i fitted 5 of these about 6 months ago at that price. they are different and i quite like them so do any visitors:thumbsup: cant go wrong for £20 a door. one one door i had to trim loads off as the casing was peed:-D
hope that helps

great spot!
can anyone confirm they have these in different sizes?

i'm after the following and will need to trim some of them slightly:
6 x 762mm
3 x 686mm
3 x 610mm
#25
these are "order in only" apparently i asked what that meant and where i could see then advertised and the bloke seemed confused, he did manage to find some at a huge store in the area, only the warehouse stores carry them
#26
i called the manufacturer today http://www.jeld-wen.co.uk and spoke to a very nice lady who informed me all the doors in there range will only trim to 6mm on any edge.

Hope this helps some of the others who are looking at purchasing for doorways which are not exact to the size.
They have a technical page which shows the door make-up, i don't understand it much being a woman LOL but its there for any door techies.
#27
I just picked up 4 from the Cheltenham store and there were only 2 left after.
I couldn't see any other widths apart from 762mm.
These are the seriously heavy doors considering their chipboard based.

Thanks OP!!!
#28
i know wheres theres 80 but i havent had a chance to get there yet! lol
#29
these where priced as £50 before mark down, now i just need a van for a day!!

These doors are only 30" No other sizes.

I know because we wanted to replace all the doors in the house which are 27" and 30", and Gloucester like elsewhere only have the 30" Didn't want to have a mismatch of doors

The doors were £49.99 for ages, supposedly half price then.

If you only want 30" doors it's a steal.

They had the glass ones too but at full price, really liked them but again only 30" doors
#31
could someone please tell me the EAN code?
#32
yeah iv decided against it, they would only fit 80% of my doors, shame they are spot on for the mohoney
#33
Just rang B&Q Wednesbury and was informed that these doors are full price - look's like another deal missed :(
