Used it this morning too and it works fine! bargain

A dibber creates a hole for your seed

Noun: dibber dibu(r)
A wooden hand tool with a pointed end; used to make holes in the ground for planting seeds or bulbs

I just use a screwdriver!

I always try to find one that is already there. Though it always seems to be hard work to get access so maybe I should get one of these ;-)

Depends on your soil. I used a wooden dibber just like this to put some plug plants down the plot. I had to put both hands onto it and put a good deal of my body weight (85kg) down through it...thats ho hard the soil was at the time. Finger per plug plant?... no way.

Awesome deal. I was gonna get a 720p HD wireless dibber from china but this is better till I find myself a 1080p dibber. Heard wickes are bringing out a 1080p in July.

Heat !!!

lol you lot made me smile - I guess I should have explained what a dibber was!
much nicer to use a dibber to make a hole for seeds/seedlings and small plants than to use my small short and stubby fingers - also nicer to use a dibber than to get my finger nails encrusted with mud! Spent ages with finger nail brushing trying to clean them up - not nice :(

thanks everyone :)
