Was looking on the B&Q site for some timber bits and this popped up. Seems a decent price, and handy too. Tempted to pick 1 up to replace mine which isn't too reliable now.

You can also R&C online and get quidco for it too.

The button, for some reason, takes you to a completely different product, even though I copied and pasted the link. The product code is 0000003448991.

Just personal choice but if I bought one of these I think the more expensive one would be better as it has a depth range of 38mm rather than this deal's 19mm, horses for courses?

19 mm is fine for houses and outbuidings, industrial offices ets 38mm is better.

Do these things actually work? This would be perfect for mounting my telly on to the wall!

yes they do work i used one to mount a tv to my daughters plasterboard wall, using a piece of ply, fixed across two timber studs,(found by the stud detector) then fixing the bracket to the ply.
