That's actually a pretty OK deal, considering the HD screen and ION chipset, HDMI out and all that. Before the likes of the Galaxy Tab came along, ION netbooks were the must-have gadget, but how times have changed..

Plus it's £50 cheaper than any other place and there's (probably) 5% quidco cashback on Expansys too. I guess it's because its a refurb it is getting the cold shoulder, or possibly because it's only XP and not shiny Windows 7.

Have some heat anyways...

The earlier thread on these point to a BIOS unlock to run this as full ION instead of ION LE

Then again, maybe these refurbs are the ones that got returned because the full ION didn't fully function when enabled via that hack!
