Got our delivery today, very fast.

Was given the £10 off in email confirmation, then charged for the delivery £3.95, making a grand total of £7.65.

But this morning's delivery is asking £13.70 for the doll? No mention of the £10 discount (code) :x The code I used (mentioned on MSE and original link given on this thread - which has disappeared) was ZG007

ALso am I dreaming or has someone changed the header to read £14 delivered with code? I was sure it said £7.65, which is what we were quoted on our email confirmation.

You are not dreaming. Someone has changed the header. You are right, it said £7.65. I am sure about this because I orderd the doll for £7.36. But now I've received it with a delivery note asking £13.70.

There are two possibilities:

- Either we have to pay £13.70.
- or The littlewoods willl charge the full amount and refund the applied discount (hope they will do so).

Most ofthe littlewoods/ additions, etc deals are voted cold just becasue of their discount codes - they dont honour it everytime.

Hi Haq,

I sent an email to Littlewoods direct asking them why "advice note" total price is different from that on the confirmation email I received. Will report back.

According to a MSE poster, the code was from a WHSmith Flyer, "open new account" and get £10 off. I'm only going by what was on the Money Saving Expert link - which mysteriously has disappeared from this posting/thread - .:? I only saw one account of a person being charged full price but not sure if they eventually got their refund. For others it seemed to work okay

Who removed posting/Changed details, after people had placed order. I didn't notice anything saying it was edited/updated or changed. Is it me or does it now quote the code of ZG007 for additions direct only? Why did littlewoods direct accept code, when additions direct didn't?

Personally I'm sure littlewoods will honour the confirmed price in their confirmation email, it's just that they've got a crazy system for applying their discounts.

Update:
reply from littlewoods:
Thanks for contacting us about the promotion you received.
Upon checking your account we can confirm £10.00 discount was refunded to your card on 07 .06.09 on dispatch of your order.
We are sorry for any inconvenience caused and look forward to you shopping online with us again soon.

They could have saved me the trouble of chasing them and confirmed it in their original email. Oh well it's sorted now.
