What a total rip off. Making parents spend this much money on an Advent calendar. Before long this type of Advent calendar will be the norm and kids will be pestering their parents for these before Christmas. I would NEVER buy one.

Thanks for your comment.
I just wanted to say that no one is 'making' anyone do anything.
It may seem a lot of money, however in previous years my daughter has had similar playmobil & ponyville calendars and still plays with the contents to this day, so for me the play value far outweighs the cost.
For the record - my daughter has NEVER pestered me for these, I chose to buy them as part of the build up to Christmas.
I posted because of the deal on the price, i understand that they are not for everyone.

Thankyou Eve for finding this absolute bargain, I am buying this right now as I know that my little girl will just love this, it is also an added bonus that there are not any sweets in there, makes a really nice change thanks again x

Your are welcome, part of the reason i buy them is because they are not stuffed with sweets or chocolate (my Daughter gets her fair share of that over xmas! lol)
I wouldn't buy one for the RRP of 24.99 but looking at the contents you would pay probably 14.99 for a mini baby born doll with 2 outfits and other accessories anyway.
i hope your little one enjoys it.

Older children will respond to peer pressure and pester parents for them. Bring back little chocolate Advent calendars is what I say. Not a personal dig at you.

Get off your high horse, no one is making you buy it! At the end of the day it is under 15 quid, u can reuse it year after year and any little girl would love it! If you would rather fatten your kids up with chocs then thats up to you!

They won't use it for years and years because there will be something new in fashion next year or the year after.

Nobody is forcing anyone to buy anything. It is parent's personal choice what to buy.. theres that little word called 'no' that you can tell those pestering kids. I buy them because I want to, not because my kids pester me. My kids have had the playmobil calendars in the past, this year eldest has lego but I was struggling to find a girly one so ended up buying a similar one to this on ebay direct from Germany as they have a lot of toy type calendars there. This is cheap in comparison. Better than chocolate just before school each day!!

Years ago, chocolate calendars weren't around much.. it was just cardboard calendars and all you got was a picture each day, before that it was candles, so do you not like chocolate calendars either?
