nice find! voted hot!

Nice find, a small grill is more useful to me than the huge ones they seem to make now.

Ps thanks Starlet, how did you do that?
#5
I have the large one, which means it takes up a lot of room and I only cook salmon and chicken breasts on it anyway. So this is perfect.

Voted hot and rep left.

Excellent price :) Thanks ;-)

On the Argos site if you try to 'borrow' pics it flashes a copyright message, but if you press to enlarge the image & right click you can copy the properties & paste using HotUKdeals 'insert url' option.
(Hope that clears things up but if it's still unclear feel free to PM me)

My first post have been lurking about for a while some great deals, got this for work as work shifts and dont have a cooker or grill and it is nice and handy, no more going to the canteen now and paying £1.5 for a bacon bun, just hope the other guys chip in all 9 of them....

Great find! I bought student daughter a similar thing 2 1/2 years ago when she went into student accomodation at uni. She has made good use of it and shares it with other flat mates.Money well spent ( and that was full price).

Happy Shopping  voted HOT.

Just showed the pic. to teen living at home, she shouted " toasties Mum "(buy it!) the one in the cupboard is TO BIG!
Reserved to collect in store tomorrow.
#13
These are awesome things, I've got the gigantic one but it takes up too much space IMO so I might grab one of these. thanks OP

Have had one of these for 4 years, really good, still non-stick after use every week at least, you can get 4 chicken breasts on at a squeeze and bacon is fantastic on it. I use it for grilling fish too, and you wouldn't believe the ammount of fat that drains out of it. Ideal size for 1 or 2 people. 100% recommend this item.........and what a price!!

Bought one last night, it's very good, rep added.

HEy great price no doubt, but it is very small (we bought one from Tescos same price in the sale) and they will take a couple of chicken breasts or a couple of pieces of salmon Ok but not much use if you regularly cook for more than one or two people as you say

great find too :)

Will this fit say 2 strips of bacon for a quick bacon sandwich :) as i've been eyeing up one of these lean mean machines or is 2 strips pushing it as some say it's small?
#29
Several people have already said it'll fit 2 chicken breasts...so I am guessing 2 strips of bacon would be fine...
#30
I just got mine yesterday. It's much bigger then I expected. I grilled two large beef steaks and they did fit without much squeeze!
#31
picked up one yesterday and broke its virginity by cooking two nice steaks on it. its the same size as i had in uni, just perfect sized!

Exactly - This is a fab little buy. You can shove it in a cupboard when you've finished with it - perfect for toasted sarnies, burgers, roasted veg.... great post! x
#33
Treated myself to one of these today.Broke it's virginity by cooking some burgers on it!Ideal for people living on their own.

Would *frozen* sausages cook okay on this?

Would *frozen* sausages cook okay on this?

I'd be doubtful, unless (microwave?) defrosted first...'less anyone knows better.
#36
Every thing needs to be defrosted first before cooking on the grill

Thanks for sharing this. Voted hot and reputation added.

FAO those who have one:

Are these easy to clean?
Will they fit say 2 quarterpounder sized burgers??

Thanks.

Used mine for the first time yesterday and it's fantastic managed to fit 3 chicken breasts on so 2 quarter pounder's shouldn't be a problem
As for cleaning it was so quick and easy, used the plastic scrapper then a soft damp cloth.
#39
I agree, all of these are so easy to keep clean, the non stick coating is excellent and doesn't scratch easily.
#40
To be honest I have cooked frozen saussies on our asda one without too much trouble, but they do go a bit dark on the outside. better to defrost first as someone else said.

My only grumble is that these things are a bit difficult to clean, especially when the teflon gets a bit worn. I just wish they'd come with removable plates that you can put in the dishwasher.

Great gadgets though, and unlike things like sandwich makers it'll get used over and over again!

You can't go wrong for under seven quid!
