my little one has picked up the speed at which she crawls so need a safety gate. after having DS1 trip down the stairs when we put the safety gate up for DS2 (ended up going hosp!) i wanted a no trip gate.

this is down from £25.99 to £12.99. loads left in the store i went to today.

postage is £4.95 , or free over £50.

Do the fixings require screwing into the wall on these? I assume it's actually a gate rather than something you completely remove to get through?

This gate is screwed to the wall; you just flick the clip and pull up to swing open.

This is the best type of gate for the top/bottom of stairs as there is no trip point.

My son's got one like this on his bedroom door, it's brilliant! Easy to open, and when the children are old enough they can easily open it too (took my 5 year old a while to figure lol)

still in the box but fittings come with it.

it does mean drilling into wall but thats with most non trip ones i find...
