I recommend a better J Fox movie - Bright Lights, Big City. Ok, perhaps not better than Back to the Future, but certainly better than II or III. Give it a look.

Sacrilege! II and III are amazing. I'll concede that Bright Lights, Big City is pretty decent though.

How come i've never seen this film? and this is the best trilogy of all time- up there with toy story so that's a big call to say 2 &3 are not up to scratch. All 3 are quality, just hoping they never remake them!

Correct. I could watch the trilogy over and over and still enjoy every minute of it.

Seriously cheap and nasty looking box set, doesn't include the animated series either. Not worth it despite the price reduction. Cold

Back to the Future is like The Wizard of Oz. Once you start watching it, you can't stop till it's over.

I kind of hate musicals (one of the reasons I never finished watching Frozen without falling asleep) but The Wizard of Oz blended perfectly film and music together. The Sound of Music is also right up there. :)

Not this 'remake' shenanigans again. Remake, reboot, sequel or prequel, whatever. It doesn't alter/effect the originals, you know? I can imagine you were one of those trolls which boycotted Ghostbusters 2016.

Robert Zemeckis stated that he will never allow a remake while he is alive. heres a quote from an interview

"“Oh, God no,” the 63-year-old director told the Telegraph, when asked if – as one of the two rights holders to the original film, along with co-writer Bob Gale – he would ever consider signing off on a remake.

“That can’t happen until both Bob and I are dead. And then I’m sure they’ll do it, unless there’s a way our estates can stop it. I mean, to me, that’s outrageous. Especially since it’s a good movie. It’s like saying ‘Let’s remake Citizen Kane. Who are we going to get to play Kane?’ What folly, what insanity is that? Why would anyone do that?”

My wife will kill me.

I'll have to go back in time to place it into my collection before I meet her.

I found Bright Lights Big City a bit disappointing as I'd read the (excellent) book first and MJF was just too nice to play a convincing drug addict.

Have to agree not quite the American offering & shame on the cheap box. Would probably prefer to buy the steelbook versions. Guess i'll provide some heat tho' as it does seem the cheapest my some margin.

I read the book many years after the film. It really was a stonker of a read.

Ghostbusters (1984) is a great film, Ghostbusters (2016) is not a great film, irrespective of gender.

Ghostbusters 1984 is a good film, no 'classic'' however. Ghostbusters 2016 is entertaining with some very funny moments, far from a classic, far from a disaster.

I'm in a state of "Flux" as to whether to buy this, as I already have the standard edition.
