I re-watched these last weekend for the first time in a decade (or two?). First movie was (almost) as good as I remembered. But man, was the second one crap. Can't decide whether to give the third one a go now :)

Good price, I paid £28 from Blockbuster which is a good price

However, I'm using a 250GB PS3 Slim, and the console really doesn't like my first disc from this boxset, it takes about 4 minutes too load to the main menu, and the tray makes some weird noises (sort of like a thumping sound)

I've had it before, but it was only a disc that was completely kanckered, Has anyone had the same problem with this boxset

I got to watch Back to Future at the cinema recently..one of my all time great movies. Heat added as this is an excellent price for a very good set of movies.

any other good deals there (at derby opening)?

Have you tried this disk on another blu-ray player because there had been some problems like this with Fast & Furious Boxset with the TOKYO disk where the disk was unbalanced and stutter when in play. So if it’s this problem then it’s more likely that this would do the same on other blu-ray players.

Saw this deal floating around the US websites last week (ordering from the UK was cheaper than the prices over there) so it's a cracker deal!

In the Croydon store they had already changed the prices to match the Derby deals and I rang up before hand and they said they will price match other BestBuy stores as it wouldn't be fair to have one store cheaper than the other

We are still about 30 years away from technology being able to produce the actual quality and resolution that can be achieved from old movies on film.

The actual resolution of the masters of Back to the future are way beyond bluray so dont worry.

It looks awesome actually and sharp as hell.

Not sold out, but cancelled due to the poor quality of the model car. Read about it here:

However since found this link on Amazon Germany which now shows a release date in early December http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/B003U9P472/imzwielde-21

I wonder if they have got it sorted with a reissue of the car?

its all about opinions, thought the 2nd was brilliant, little over the top but features my favourite scene of all time, the 2 biffs discussing matters in 1955. Classic

I went to thurrock last Sunday couldn't find it anywhere

i went into best buy at lakeside today to get COD:BO for £30, while walking around i found this too.
it was on a display on the end of an aisle near the tv's at the back of the shop.
they had the normal blueray boxset for £19.99 and the special edition tin for £34.99
i got the normal edition and it did ring up at £34.99 on the till but the woman serving put it through as £19.99.
the £19.99 sticker on the front was placed over an old sticker for £34.99
this is still available so shouldnt be expired!
