Sounds like a good deal, but it doesn't make it clear whether you need to send 50p loose stamps AND a stamp addressed envelope... Also is the address the same as the one for ordering at £2.99 ??

Edited By: djblamire on Oct 04, 2010 21:21: spelling mistake.

thanks for comfirming - thats how i read it too ;)

but it actually says:

"Get your USB Flash Drive totally free whilst stocks last by sending postage stamps to the value of 50p along with your name and address. It is recommended that you send a stamped addressed, padded, A4 envelope for every item, as gifts are fragile and could be damaged if standard size envelopes are supplied. However failure to supply this size envelope will not affect the dispatch of your gift."

More info here: http://mediapromos.co.uk/backtothefuture/

Found after a quick google. No word as to the size, and the 'gift set' looks to be worth about a quid, with a naff branded MP3 player, and an awful looking keyring.

Watched it on Sunday night.

OK if your a big fan as the usb "pen" is the size of a couple of credit cards.
Not much use if you already have the dvd.
and not much use as a themed usb pen.

sorry Cold.

You will get a cheap looking usb in a 2nd class envelope, along with an absolute mountain of spam. Not worth it even for the 50p's worth of stamps and envelope option.

These people have also traded as Expansive Media & Freebie Gifts, and on their emails' mention MSE (as seen on...), to link themselves to Martin Lewis, which is an absolute cheek. Awful quality.

Seriously avoid.

Looks interesting here:
http://www.usb2u.co.uk/articles/2010/10/usb-credit-cards-%E2%80%93-back-to-the-future/

It's probably 512MB given that the article says "here are several different models available including a very stylish metal version and they come in memory sizes ranging from 512MB to 8GB".

I was tempted with the p+p alone, but now even more!

Now, I wonder if I can use the Paypal Royal Mail service. Just print an envelope and send it off.

Website said wait up to 60 days for delivery and by my calculation it's been 42 days since I ordered on Oct 5th, so another possible 18 days (Dec 4th) to wait.

My stuff turned up today. Quite disappointed over all.
USB drive is 128MB and has some BTTF pics and clips on it.
MP3 player is 128MB and has a load of Alvin and the Chipmunks2 stuff on it and it came to pieces when I tried to take the end cap off. It comes with a 2.5mm headphone socket, so you can't even use your normal headphones with it. Straight in the bin.
Lenticular bit of card is okay for what it is
LED torch is reasonable quality.
Not worth £10 altogether though. Lesson learned - steer clear of Expansive Media / Media Promos in future!
#35
Mine arrived today. Would have to agree with fishsticks
suspended#36
Me too what a pile of crap! I'm disgusted, the mp3 does not even have a usb part on it, you pull the lid and the whole thing breaks, i wrote them an email demanding a refund or set that works, called it crap and said i was happy to get trading standards involved if they didnt reply oO
#37
anyone else had the freebie (50p) one
#38
Did anyone ever receive theirs ?

Thanks
Daniel
