I don't like Bailey's as a drink, but my OH once put it in a bread and butter pudding with some melted chocolate. It was FAB. Hope our B&M has it in stock tomorrow. Heat added.

Good price but I'd check the best before date as I bought 2x 1 litre bottles for £18 last year that were discounted in Tesco. Didn't keep my receipts and to my disappointment having never thought to look at Best Before date on alcohol opened one of the bottles about 3 months after I'd bought them, by this time they were 2 months past their best before. The Bailey's was curdled as I poured it from the bottle so didn't drink it. Next day returned to my local Tesco without a receipt but thought they might be able to trace my purchase through my Clubcard which they said they couldn't. I returned home, opened the other bottle and it was also curdled so binned both bottles. Maybe if I'd opened the bottles 3 months earlier at the time of purchase and had I realised that there was a best before they might have been OK. My point being, check the best before and if you plan on keeping the Baileys until Christmas as I did and its going to be a couple of months beyond its Best Before I wouldn't take the chance.

Keep it in the fridge or garage where it's cool and that'll keep it right.

So, when did you buy, and what was the best before date?
Baileys should be good for 2 years at least.
I've had some older than two years, opened, without any problems.

I don't think that link means its good for 2 years after the best before date. I read that to mean that it's good for 2 years from the date of manufacture, either unopened or, if stored correctly, opened. I think the best before date is 2 years after the date of manufacture. So if it short dated, as it probably will be knowing B&M's then the BB date will still apply.

I always check the dates from these types of stores now because I've had to return O.O.D. stock previously.

Could've been deliberate or just due to poor stock rotation.

Thanks OP, I'll get some for Christmas :)

i think someone has been telling you porkies,am quite sure if you went and asked the question on facebook they will tell you differently (if they are honest) how do you think they send you out money off vouchers for particular items or work out your clubcard points.

Hang on, anyone else actually managed to bag one yet? Lots of heat, but any substance to this being a 1 litre for £7.99 from anyone else?
