This works out as a cheap way to get silicone cake cases, I bought two copies of this magazine and got 12 silicone cake cases for less than £2!!! You cant even get them that cheap on fleabay! Am not necessarily recommending the magazine - it goes up to £4.99 every week after this first issue, but for the cake cases it's worth it. Have only listed Tesco as the retailer as that's where I got it but you'll be able to get it anywhere that sells magazines :)

Also.......

Issue 2 will be £2.99 and comes with a free silicone brush & spatula.

Issue 3 will be normal price of £4.99 and comes with a free silicone loaf mould.

I was going to subscribe to get the free gifts, but then I discovered you don't get them all at once, it's only one per month for four months, decided it wasn't worth it. In case anyone is wondering, there are plans for 60 magazines - £300!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They say on the site that you can cancel your subscription at any time, there doesnt appear to be a minimum term, and 60 issues at 2 issues a month would last you 30 months/ 2 and a half years so £300 (minus the first cheaper issues) isnt that bad in my opinion.

So if all the shops sold CoD for £10 that wouldn't be a deal? It's the fact that you get the cake cases with this that make it a good deal, regardless of how many places sell it. Surely the more outlets for this, the better!?

Great deal at 99p for 6 cupcake cases. Well woth buying several copies.

£2.99 for issue 2 looks good too if you need a new brush and spatula.

Magazine looks lovely but doesn't actually tell you how to decorate the cupcakes - it's just nice photos of recipes you can find at allrecipes.com for free.

But do not subscribe!! They'll send you packages of 3 or 4 magazines and a freebie, cancelling and getting rid of Eaglemoss publications is a nightmare. I'm willing to jump through a lot of hoops for freebies n cheap deals (cashback mobiles etc) but I will never subscribe to Eaglemoss again after my last experience with them.

And anybody who thinks £300 is OK is a bit mental (and on the wrong website)!

Issue 2 is now out so guess this is expired.

On a side note, issue 4 comes with a silicon 7.5" shallow cake tin, issue 5 comes with 2 (I think) heart shaped silicon cake tins and issue 6 comes with an 8" inch cake tin.

I just managed to get hold of Issue 2, no luck with Issue 1. However, there is a leaflet inside the magazine with the release dates of the first four magazines, Issue 2 isn't meant to be out until 25 March.

Either way, I think I am going to subscribe to the magazine - its too hard to find these magazines instore!
