Just been to my local sainsburys and seen this, 13 ring doughnuts for just £1

freshly baked this morning (was still warm!) guessing this is a nationwide deal!

Just when you think Ive had enough and I'm gunna stop all this junk food, the wizard has to pull out another trick from his damn magic bag, and suck us all into it again. Luckily for me Sainsburys is realy far from where I live so I can get away with it, wish I could say the same for the rest of you fattys.

Bought some these yesterday.

aarrggghhh

its not fair! I wish i could sit there at home and eat all 13 in one session! but i would feel guilty eating 1!!!

Great deal, especially that it is Fat Thursday today http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fat_Thursday when one is supposed to eat doughnuts :)
#5
I can't believe they've put their individual jam doughnuts up to 20p now.
At that price it's way more tempting to buy a 5 pack for 60p (or whatever it is) which is exactly what I'm trying to avoid by buying a single doughnut in the first place.

It must be a conspiracy theory... I think Sainsbury's have been conspiring with the New World Order to make us all fat or something...

The 20p loose ones are 3 for 2 as well... not brilliant, but cheaper!
It's not always advertised, but it comes of at the end of your receipt.

I've stopped eating this sort of food for the time being.

I'm down 4 st in six months and I don't want to put it back on.

The problem I had with this sort of food is I couldn't just have one or two I had to scof the lot.

But if you have more discipline than me then fine go ahead and enjoy yourself.

:p

sainsburys donuts are lovely, far better than the dried out ones at tesco and asda!

...or rather you mean that Morrison's doughnuts are the best you've had yet? There is no way Morrison's doughnuts are better than those at Sainsbury's. They are miles and miles apart. I've tried both. Morrison's certainly beat Asda (who doesn't) but they are not in the league of J.Sainsbury, Waitrose, M&S, etc. Morrisons and Tesco doughnuts are more like bread with jam than actual doughnuts.

How has this got hot? Has everyone forgotten that these are ring doughnuts and not jam doughnuts?

Firstly - ring doughnuts are not made instore from a mix - they are fried from a frozen product and taste nothing like jam doughnuts.

Secondly - 12 ring doughnuts for £1 is the normal price at most retailers - eg. Morrisons so how is less than 10% (13 for price of 12) good deal?:whistling:

These are different from the usual ring donuts, oven baked ive been told. A lot more like the fairground donuts.
