wtf is a banana guard lol does it protect your narna in ya bate box? :-D

They're employed for VIP bananas. Years of training. Have to do 2 years with the melons before you're promoted. I know... I've been through it all. Very tough. Still have nightmares. Voted Hot out of respect and honour.

Probably, just don't snap the case shut! :w00t:

this will get some heat. Just because it appeals to the juvenile in us all - nice find.

And what happens if your banana doesnt match the curve of the case?

Shouldn't it be called Banana Armour?
#15

Hang on - so you saw it in a shop, and then googled around when you got home to ensure it was the best deal around for a banana guard? That's some commendable, if slightly bonkers, dedication. Voted hot, and rep'd:thumbsup:

My son has one of these and they are brilliant!!!. All the children throw their fruit snacks into a box in the classroom and this stops the bananas turning to mush. Excellant price too.

They are larger than a banana so you can move it up or down to fit inside. The only bit that can sometimes be awkward is the stalk bit at the top but you can just trim it to make it a bit shorter.

Top Tip - take your banana guard with you when buying your bananas, you can check the size before you buy:thumbsup:

lmaooo, Just imagine people in asda fruit isle.

there will always be the same bunch of bananas left, the arsey ones that wont fit in the guard

...and I thought life was too short to bother guarding bananas...how wrong can you be

You force it in I suppose, but that would seem to defeat the purpose somewhat, ie. non squashed banana.

EU rules don't allow it:roll:

My advice would be to buy this in a shop rather than online! I bought one and the postman delivered it, unfortunately as it is sturdy it does not need much bubble wrap meaning said postman gave me a very strange look!

My dad gave me one of these for my 34th birthday, along with a perfect soldier (toast) cutter.

I felt like the luckiest man on Earth!

How can this be a "hot" deal?

It's a next to useless product so you are wasting a pound by buying it.

Thats is what you would think.

But when you try to throw them away - they just keep spinning back. :whistling:
