...as you wish...

...tho you'd have to buy a whole load of bananas to make the difference in price worth it, saving a penny per kilo.

If you read the Aldi thread, you'll see the bananas are in 1kg bags ;-)

Their loose ones were 39p/kg (unless they've just put them up). The bagged ones were about 89p/kg though

LOL
Digging deeper here somebody throw me a shovel...
...aren't the TESCO bananas from their value range and more likely to be an inferior product..?:w00t:

I'm losing my appetite for bananas very quickly here.

And another thing...

Fyffes are supporting UNICEF to help combat the spread of malaria in Mozambique

* Spread over five years Fyffes funding will help prevent the spread of malaria amongst orphaned and other vulnerable children in Mozambique through the distribution of mosquito nets and the support of health facilities and community projects
* In 2009 alone, 80% of exposed population groups in six provinces will be assured of prompt malaria treatment

The ones I've been getting from my local Tesco express for 35p have the dole sticker attached to them. Nothing wrong with the bananas either apart from sometime being a little green and not ripe enough.

46p loose kg Sainsbury but fair trade. Worth the extra 10p in my opinion.

Yes I bought a bag of these half price at my local Asda - nothing wrong with them - just overstock.

Do these have HDMI ports?

Lmao............Fancy arguing over bananas !..............................Lmao

They've been 38p for at least a week now. They're not overstocked (I work there), it's just a dick waving competition with the other supermarkets, we're still selling about the same amount of bananas per day as when they were 85p p/kg. People will buy bananas no matter what the price, and nobody buys a great amount more bananas because they know they'll end up throwing them away...

FWIW - Del Monte bananas are far better quality.

I bought Tesco banana's a couple of weeks ago when they were 49ish pence per kilo.

Now, I've always believed that Bananas go from green to yellow and then yellow with black spots when they get really ripe. These Tesco ones were something different. They went from green to a rather unappealing colour. The skins looked to have rotten!

My wife bought Aldi banana's yesterday and I've just cut up one for my son. The inside of the end of the banana had turned all brown and mushy...

I've never had a problem with Asda bananas either standard or Smart Price.

Yes, but only one - older model I think, you'll have to get a splitter to connect more devices...
...a banana splitter that is!!:-D

FWIW I've bought nearly 800 bananas from Aldi so far this year - not had a bad one yet!
