I'm sorry but this not about bargains...this about using a code. If you take the code away its the normal price...are we going to have to put up with the incessant use of the this code for every DVD or Blu-Ray title under the sun...

There is a long, long, long, long (etc) tradition on this site of highlighting "possible ways" one could take advantage of voucher codes. Usually, this tends to focus on "banker" products such as Band of Brothers as it guarantees heat/rep for the poster. One could use the code to get "Shark in Venice" from Tesco Entertainment cheaper that you could buy it elsewhere, but I doubt such a "deal" would prove quite so popular. :whistling:

This deal/possible use of a voucher code is currently the best price for the finest piece of television ever produced. If anyone hasn't watched it, they should buy it now. Looks and sounds fab on Blu Ray as well. Shame it's not as cheap as the recent Price Minister offer where it could be had for about £6.99 after Quidco.

Want to get this for my hubby , why oh why doesn't quidco let you sign in on more than one computer at a time ? Cos it's signed in all the time on my home comp , even though it's currently switched off I can't sign in on my mobile broadband ! Mind you I might not have got any cashback due to using a voucher code , but still , it's rubbish ............

I am more than happy to get heads up on any vouchers / codes etc if it brings the cost down to lower than any other site. This is a brilliant blu ray box set at this incredible price. Heat added by me!!!!
#9
yip heat added by me , I second that emotion ! Imagine dissing someone for providing the means to get a cheap deal on anything just because one has to type a code into a wee box . Methinks he works for tesco and they're trying to save money !

Fair enough points but I bet a straw poll of users who would have liked to have ordered this for £15.24 can't - as they've already used the voucher.
I think the deal should have been posted at the pre-voucher price (which is already reasonable) with a comment about further reductions down to £15.24 for those that haven't already used the aforementioned voucher.
#11
But for those who haven't used the voucher - this is the best price available for this product and thats what its all about - otherwise you could argue (although I would agree with this one) that no Tesco store specific deals should be on here as not everyone -i.e only 4 people can take advantage of them..

Hot from me... tempted as well - never got around to watching this.

heated, very good value for a cracking series, surely every one should own this if you got a bluray player

I got mine for £8.99

No joke, I honestly thought Band of Brothers was a musical film/typical American TV drama until I saw a clip on youtube.....Then I realised the I had it mixed up with Blues Brothers, full on blonde moment lol

Whats so good about this then?

This is one of the greatest TV series ever made.
Its like Saving Private Ryan but much much better.
You start to develop feelings for the characters and some of the outcomes of these characters may have you in tears.
For me i have not finished watching it yet but the best one was Carentan (disk2 episode 3).
Surround sound cranked up with the Subwoofer and speakers set to DTS Pro Logic the battle scene is amazing.
I am on Disk 4 at the moment and have loved every moment of this series.
A must have for everybody
