But the same people are producing "The Pacific" about the war in the Pacific (funnily enough) which should be out next year some time.

But that would make at least a bit of sense being that the Pacific theatre was primarily a US war. It is still based on books written by people who were there.

thanks and welcome Terry

Great series. It's a shame that the British are always portrayed as being idiots. I'm beginning to wonder if we are.

Voted hot. It's a truly great series and definately worth £15. I paid £55 a few years ago for it, and it's been worth every penny. Watched it loads of times - for 10, quality, 1 hour episodes (or there abouts) it's worth £15.

Sorry i didn't explain my moan properly lol

I meant as usual it will be a movie depicting America winning WW2 pretty much single handed and i bet it wont mention the British fleet that was out there ( HMS Prince of Wales, HMS Repulse etc). Hollywood movies are known to bend the truth to always show America as the hero that saved the day so to speak, little mention usually over there very late arrival in to the war and other sacrifices such as Russia's immense sacrifice . :whistling:

Anyway I'm British so I'm bound to think that lol

Crackin' series... I don't reckon you could buy a copy for that!!!
