Not a bad price for the DVD set, best around atm. Anyone with a spare voucher can get it for a shade over £10.
Based on the bestseller by Stephen E. Ambrose, this critically acclaimed, award-winning mini-series follows the epic adventures of Easy Company, 506th Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division, U.S. Army. Drawn from interviews with survivors of Easy Company, as well as soldiers' journals and letters, Band Of Brothers chronicles the experiences of these men who knew extraordinary bravery and extraordinary fear. They were an elite rifle company parachuting into France early on D-Day morning, fighting in the Battle of the Bulge and capturing Hitler's Eagle's Nest at Berchtesgarten. Recreated with stunning special effects and the second collaboration between Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, the series is both a profound and captivating look at the reality of war.

Yeah that annoyed me quite a bit, probably will end up taking out movies for the duration it's on.

Am I going mad or did i not buy this for under £18 on Blu Ray for an xmas present? This was with play and with quidco to come.

What's with the fuss of wanting to upgrade your package, there are other means of watching shows, and then waiting until they come out on DVD or Blu-Ray

Seems pointless upgrading to Sky Movies when you can just download the episode for free from a Bittorrent network the day after it has been shown.

Its a HBO production, in the US HBO costs a lot of money to subscribe to, so why are people mad here that its being put on the movie channel? Why assume that it would just be shown on Sky One, which Virgin also has the rights to,$KY just want to make money, plain and simple, same as HBO, HBO funding helps create some groundbreaking shows.

As I said "legallity" issues aside, if you really want to watch it before waiting until BBC buy the rights, download it, then buy it when it comes out.
