Remember, this is for the Limited Edition Collectable Tin, not the standard Blu Ray Box Set (for £14.26p with code at The Hut). If you're fussy about what Blu Rays are in your collection, then it has to be this one every time.

"From this day to the ending of the world, we in it shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers. For he today that sheds his blood with me shall be my brother."

From Academy Award winners Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, HBO presents the story of Easy Company - an elite team of U.S. paratroopers whose WWII exploits are as incredible as they are true.

Based on the bestseller by Stephen E. Ambrose, the epic 10-part miniseries Band Of Brothers tells the story of Easy Company, 506th Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division, U.S. Army.

Drawn from interviews with survivors of Easy Company, as well as soldiers' journals and letters, Band Of Brothers chronicles the experiences of these men who knew extraordinary bravery and extraordinary fear. They were an elite rifle company parachuting into France early on D-Day morning, fighting in the Battle of the Bulge and capturing Hitler's Eagle's Nest at Berchtesgaden. They were also a unit that suffered vast casualties, and whose lives became legend.

They were ordinary men, swept up in the most extraordinary conflict in history. With the eyes of the world upon them, they found their greatest source of strength in one another.

Dream on, the Limited Edition Collectable Tin at The Hut is £34.85p!!! http://www.thehut.com/blu-ray/band-of-brothers-2010-tin/10237025.html Looks like a few cancelled orders on the way me thinks, oh and maybe a little bit of heat.

The point I'm making is that for those who enjoy adding more exclusive titles to their collections, then this is the "limited edition set" and the one at The Hut is not. This has added features which you can read about on the link. For the small difference in price then this IS by far the better deal. IMHO.

On the hut and their partner sites alot of the time for some reason they have 2 links to a product, I posted the other day a dvd of donkey punch for £1.93 but there was another link on the site for the same dvd for £5.95.

There is a new version coming out. Linkage Most sites claim it's a tin, but not released yet and more likely the replacement for the tin version.

[edit] released Monday.

Surely this release on Monday is just a re-issue of what has gone before? I've just had a look at my copy bought when it first came out on Blu and it looks exactly the same [of course they could be using an old pic]

Possibly reissued because of the imminent release of The Pacific on 1st Nov?

I too have never seen this available anywhere other than a tin version.

Can't really see where this 'limited' bit comes from...........

I now see having checked again that Play does seem to show 2 different tin designs - if you check the words 'Band of Brothers' on the edge, on one it reads from top to bottom but from bottom to top on the other.

However the one I have is the same as the pic they're showing for this 'new' release tomorrow! Go figure...[as an american might say :)]

I think it's going to be a digi-pack to replace the tin but the sites haven't the information right. Makes no sense to re-release it otherwise. Soon see.
