I've used airlinequality.com as a guide, usually very good. For Etihad:

don't tempt me

I ve flown with etihad, very good

Fly with etihad all the time exellent airline and i would go as far as saying they are on par with Emirates for service and quality
#7
Good Airline and great price for the location
#8
What's the airport like at Abu Dhabi? I stopped flying with Emirates as Dubai airport was nothing more than an overcrowded cesspit.

Hot deal by the way!

Yorkie.... When was the last time you flew with emirates as they have their own terminal now which is fab!

Great price, but very limited.

I am planning to go in March, but if I go March 27 I can't get a return flight until May.

Not too sure my work will approve off a month off lol

Probably about 18 months to two years ago, sure I read a few reviews somewhere saying that the new terminal wasn't much better, i.e lack of seating, filthy toilets, bussing passenger to and from planes still etc..

I take it in your opinion the new terminal is good? The 3-4 hours waiting in the old terminal was hell!

Good price! But to be honest in Jan/Feb/March most airlines would be around £350-£450 to Thailand, except during bank holidays and school holidays of course.

Is that right? Most hotels in the region class those months as peak season.

Therefore I always assumed flight prices would be higher.

this price is pretty average

this is not a bad price..i've flown with this airline and they are superb......abu dhabi airport?......its an experience....

Not a bad price but I managed to get Direct return flights with Eva for £430 last week (Gatwick to Bangkok)... Which pretty much haves the journey time for £70 more (also through netflights)

If you booked a several weeks ago then maybe, but not now. Infact I am fairly sure you won't find a flight in that price/date range from any airline other than, Jet Airways.

Possibly nearest price to that would be Emirates indirect and you will have to mess about with your return transfer, sometimes up to 7 hours.

I used Etihad 3 yrs ago and was impressed, swift connection via Abu Dhabi which is a beautiful Airport.

EVA are surprisingly good also, I paid a similar price to that last year.

I have been checking the price for the last six months for my dates and they are generally the same!

March 27 - April 10, direct flights £515.

I guess I pay that much more to go over the east holidays! Does anyone know if this would be reduced in Janurary sales, or should I just book now?

I paid 535 htrw direct to bkk including connecting flight to Krabi, that was Thai Airways in Feb10-March 6.

I have previously tried to hold out to see if the price drops last minute, but they genenrally tend to go up.

Hot Deal Just got back last week from bangkok i paid £336 with etihad airways from manchester
great price even at £369. only problem is they run out of the meals everyone wants so you end up with the worst meals. abu dhabi airport is ok not the best airport in the world but for a stop over of 2 hours who cares :p i prefer emirates myself but etihad are up there on the ratings

ps. when buying stuff in abu dhabi check your recipe got robbed from one duty free shop.
