As far as home grinders go, this is one of the very best reviewed. It's grinder only though.

Yeah, well, lightning deal...

I'm amused at there being cold votes. Hopefully this helped out a few people who actually understood what a bargain this was.

Don't know if you'd be interested or not, but this grinder is scheduled to be back in lightning deals at 7.30pm on Sun day evening.

Just goes to show how good a deal this was. Yesterday's £103 was A good price. I'm currently using a rhinowares compact hand grinder and either a v60 drip decanter or aeropress. Not sure I could justify £100 on a grinder but at £82 I would have been tempted. Have you got one ? What do you think ?

It was funny, when it went on sale I'd just been looking at it, trying to decide whether to buy it. I decided to wait for it to go on sale at some point, at a price so low I knew it was meant to be. Then I had a look at the lightning deals and ten minutes later, there it was, at this price. So I didn't have a choice. I bought it and it is fantastic. Makes such a difference. Used to grind for espresso. Makes the whole process so much easier to have the right amount of decent grind.

Have you used any hand grinders, if so how does this compare?

Depends on the hand grinder. I think you'd need a very good one to compare, and any hand grinder is going to take much longer to use. I wouldn't be happy with a hand grinder - certainly not for espresso - now I have this.
