Plus £2.50 credit card fee so £42.74.

Better value at Devere hotels with £19.00 per room and better hotels

Already posted above but here it is again Devere Deal
Thanks, heat added.
Thanks for this...

Booked two nights in Buxton for £80.24! Happy Days!

Don't forget Quidco... I'm due £9.66 back for the booking making a final total of £70.58 or £35.29 a night!

Good location apparently according to trip advisor, although rooms appear somewhat tired! I don't mind too much as long as it's clean!

I don't see how anyone can vote cold for a deal which so drastically improves the original price. Hot hot hot!

Lift broken, can use service lift but must get member of staff- sometimes absent- only one menu for weeks on end-ok for one night, but no good for longer, very poor in-room facilities- ONE cup in double room, skid marks on towels, no compensation offered for lack of lift. A nail-painting person IN THE LOBBY, very tacky. Find somewhere else to stay.

I agree. Go for midweek if you are concern about the noise.
We were there on Sat night and it was a bit noisey.
BUT the staff were very helpful and we didn't queue and the food was fantastic!

Happy to be corrected. I went to Chatsworth House some years ago and thought it was well worth a days visit.

Wow. Even allowing that Trip Advisor's feedback should not always be taken at face value these days, the recent feedback for Buxton Palace is very poor. I'd never go to hotel that does regular wedding do's on a weekend - noise, queue's, poor food and harassed staff is the the order of the day for these chain hotels. Aim for mid-week if you must go.
PS have voted hot anyway and will take a chance!

That's because barcelo members could access the sale at 9am!!
rates don't include breakfast - which is something like 13 pounds - and there is a charge to book by credit card. Sorry cold - hotels are mainly not in very interesting places and better hotel offers around for other hotels.

Been checking a lot of dates for Torquay and cannot find a single room at £25, so seems to be a con for this Hotel!!

Maybe because the sale starts at 10am?! :)

HUH? Must be doing something wrong looking at Torquay 15th Aug for 2 nights coming out at £416?!!!

the FREESTAY was in the promo code box, what's going wrong?

EDIT: Never mind just read the post title again! Bit cr*p really.

does this mean deal not available at all in Torquay then? we have stayed there it is a lovely hotel
Yes, if you have a specific need/reason to go visit one of these 3 places then by all means look at this deal, but surely no one would go visit one of these locations just for the sake of the "deal"?!

I hope my assumption is correct, but I fear otherwise.....Basingstoke, Daventry or Hinckley.... There is a reason the deal is on at these 3 venues people!! Dont do it to your kids folks!! :-D:w00t:

If you are on a budget then avoid the wine with the meal, when we were at Hinckley last year I think the cheapest wine on the list was about £22 (our normal wine was almost the same price as our room)

They know there's not much else to do in Hinckley except drink their wine!

Had to laugh about the description for Basingstoke hotel ,where its says ...Youre minutes from the outskirts of London.Must be quite a large 'Outskirt' :w00t:

I live in Basingstoke. It probably takes 59 minutes to drive to London from here (if you don't travel in rush hour). Anything less than an hour is minutes. But I agree it's misleading to say the least!
