Which airline is this?

At least it's the proper Barcelona airport, I remembered it was a few EUROs to city centre by bus...

you'll struggle to survive 5 nights with walk on luggage and finding things to do.. shame cos flights are a good price

Barca is amazing - awesome city, awesome food, awesome drink.

Few comments:
- The metro is brilliant, use the T10 cards (10 Journies for 10 Euro)
- Don't go to Gaudi Park for a view, go further to Tribidago. The place looks like disneyland on one of the nearby mountains, it's actually a cathedral with an amusement park built around it. Spectacular views, but windy. Get there by metro and a tram.
- Las Ramblas Boqueria, a food market off Las Ramblas. Amazing foods to be had amongst some touristy stuff. The fruit drinks they do are actually very nice. Fun to walk around. Try to speak Spanish to the vendors, they respond in English.
- Can Paixano in Barceloneta, the locals eat there. It's actually the foodie HQ of the Cava producer under the same name, and serve awesome hot and cold tapas. Stand. Be crowded. Attempt to speak Spanish again, they don't respond in English. Drink their namesake's Rose Cava for dirt cheap.
- Get lost in the Gothic Quarter, and try and find Bodega Biarritz on the way. Another great tapas bar. Drink their Mojitos. Thank me later.
- Head to Font Magica on Thursday night. Expect big crowds. It's pretty in the day, too. I went twice and considered it worthwhile.

^^^ you can also try the Freixenet Cava factory for a half day trip. 45 mins by train from Plaza catalunya. Cheap entry and even cheaper cava to drink there, and on the train back.

Wow, couldn't disagree more.

Barcelona is in my opinion the greatest European city. I spent 5 nights there and felt we had to rush some things to fit them in.

I know a couple who go every year, which is a pretty big compliment to the place.

The tourist map is brimming with things to see and places to do.

The Cordonui tour is better - but a longer walk from the station.

Great deal for a great place, you can do this city over and over again with friends and family, so much to do and see. But why does the Op have a pic of Rome?
