A really good price for this drill with 3 x 3Ah batteries. Loads of torque on this model.

3 batteries would cost £93 even using reputable non makita battery suppliers.

The only problem is RS want you to register an account to buy then dont show you the final price until they bill your card. Lets hope they dont mess up as I ordered one, just couldnt resist!
Yep have to say excellent deal especially with 3x 3Ah batteries if i hadn't already got enough battery drills would have bought this heat added.
Hot! So tempted....
don't like the idea of confirming a higher price to be charged, as credit card co's wouldn't accept this if in dispute I feel. :(
Looks like this deal just got even better, I now have a pending transaction on my credit card for £96.53.
As I didnt use it since the RS drill purchase I think this has to be the amount they are charging.

Billy bargain, 3 batteries would cost more than that!

RSComponants is a global company who has been around since the beginning of time. The voucher is published on their website (and not a dodgy person specific voucher).

RS also have a no quibble returns policy.
Well mine has arrived, very pleased with it, the batteries fit my other Makita too so I now have a ready supply of 3Ah batteries for both.
Bargain alert! Also included in the big cardboard box its case came in was a very big Makita branded Black and Red tool or clothes bag complete with wheels and pull out handle.
Price for this alone seems to be around £40 from the toolstores.

Its much like this pic but All black with red piping around it.

MikeT, I purchased this through work where we get a good discount i.e. £84 delivered. The bag (see my original post) is selling on Ebay for £30.

I also purchased the SDS hammer which came with a 96 piece toolset i.e. screwdrivers etc.

At least we have had a BARGAIN!!!!!
They had 70 left earlier today and I really dont understand why this didnt get hotter. Maybe it was the invoicing/price listing that put some off it.
I have had RS accounts for many years and they have always been exceptional with customer service.
With 65Nm of torque this is plenty man enough for most jobs. Perhaps the old 12v/14/18 cookie put some off the lower voltage version.
I'm quite happy with mine, thanks for listing it jrob01.
