The brilliant Sony Ericsson W580i on the Orange Network is a unbelievable £99 at Great Universal, Kays & Littlewoods!!!

Reposted the thread due to code stacking not being allowed anymore on here!!!

With the £30 off code you can get it for an incredible £69!!

Select 20 weeks interest free payment, add phone to basket and select no at insurance screen, and then you can apply the codes in the basket before you checkout.

Use code ZG0333 for £30 off

Hope this helps.

This code or for first time customer use only, also you need to actually open an account with them

Are you going to post every Mobile as a great deal, because using a £30 voucher makes them all good deals, doesn't it?
The code ZG0333 is a Voucher isn't it?
Voted cold.

Your unbelievable! The thread was removed due to 'code stacking', so I have reposted with one code. At £99.99 its the best price around anyway, so find somewhere lower than £100 and then you will be able to justify your cold vote. Really suprised at you dino, you have been here long enough to know better! :-( :-( :-(

Code stacking isn't advised, that's why Bryan839 was asked to re-post this.

Thanks for that.

Bryan839,
Every Mobile is a good deal when you use a £30 voucher, are you going to post all the Mobiles as deals.
My voting cold is nothing against you, and as I tried to explain in another post, we don't need to justify or give a reason for voting cold, I did it out of courtesy.

I think it is because certain "bargains" stay and certain ones dont, maybe a clear rule for all would help, just my opinion

But Dino, you have missed the point, even at £99 with no codes, it is the best price around, and no, Im not going to post all of them as deals, just 2 of them. I just cant believe it, from you, a senior member I respected. :-( :-(

Thanks for pointing those out sassie...

as posts seemed to be judged on their own merit, you cant really expect members to keep reporting

Someone else said this before, was it Sassie? (apologies sassie if it wasn't you:) ).

Not every deal is a good deal when £30 is deducted, I could show you 10 that aren't.

I'm not didsputing that there are bargains.

I am pointing out that you and dino' are incorrect when you've both stated that "every" phone is a good deal when £30 discount is applied.
#20
Sorry but I have to agree with dino on this one. You cannot start posting all the possible deals from Great Universal when using the code and the price becomes (slightly) cheaper than elsewhere!
Appreciate you taking the time to post this as a deal though!

Not the place for this discussion. Put it in a thread in Comments and then it can always be referred to in these cases.

Point is as thesaint says that no not everything is a good deal and no GU does no carry every possible variation and model under the sun.

If a price is substantially lower than anywhere else on a popular item then it's a deal. That the method of making it a deal is common to another deal is irrelevant.

As I said however - make a thread in Comments if anyone actually wants to discuss the issue and not just whinge in someone's thread who is trying to help others find deals.

Edit: "and the price becomes (slightly) cheaper than elsewhere!" personally I think that's the point it swings on rather than the method of getting a price.

Can you choose to pay all at once or do you have to pay over 20 weeks?

Edit: Also, is this unlocked?
#23
Will Great Universal honour these codes because last time their manager had a little whinge about people 'violating' their codes.
#24
i went to buy and pay by credit card but then it took away the £30 discount.

Any first time customer care to try this code with a Ps3 game.

The one's I was looking at were Ratchet & Clank & Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. Now these are priced at £45 so if the voucher gets applied you would be buying one of these for £15. You could after completing trade it in or get atleat £20 for it.

Worth a try, I am not a first time customer as I got my ps3 from here when they had 20% off Voucher. So for me it shows rules of voucher not met only valid for first time customer.

Plus they are Quidco.

It's a 'Customer 1st order' code, so will be alright.

The 'Littlewoods group' have a free return service, so if they disallow any codes, simply return it(at their cost).

The 'Manager' never answered when I probed him about the legality of retrospectively charging more than authorised. :whistling:

I believe the minimum spend is usually about £50-£60

Choose the 20 week payment plan - you can pay the full balance when your statement arrives

when i put the code into the promotion box...

it still says £99 instead of £69 in the total amount

thx

This is a good deal. Got a D900 & E900 from their website.

Was wondering if this phone is unlockable? how much is it? Not one of those 'callt he network up' is it? And also will it work on '3' network?

Excellent price for a very good phone. Voted hot! :)

When you track order, does it show the voucher being used? Or does it stay as £99 but only take £69 from your acc?
#34
Thanks everyone, if you dont want to risk the £30 off code, but still want to get the phone, £99 is the cheapest around by about £20.

Click on the statements tab in the left hand column in your account. The voucher will show up there. If statements isnt there yet, its because the order hasnt been processed. It will most probably be tomorrow, as they wouldnt be processed on sundays. Hope this helps.

how annoying i just got this delivered on kay.com using codes for £86!
Can you return it for free??
#40
Read the information about 'returns' that you were sent/e-mailed when you agreed to buy the phone.
