Very cheap for 8.5gb Dual Layer media.

Aone 8x Full Face Printable Dual Layer DVD+R DL in Packs of 10 are manufactured by Ricoh and branded under the up and coming Aone brand name, this disc has set a new precedent in Dual Layer (DVD R DL) pricing. An amazing price for users who need some affordable dual layer discs. Also known as double layer, these discs have an 8.5GB data capacity, equating to 240 minutes of video in standard play mode.

Inkjet printable discs such as these enable you to add your own designs to the top surface with affordable machines such as the Epson R220 and R300 inkjet printers. Combine that with the ability of dual layer discs to hold nearly as much data as a commercially-pressed DVD and you have the ability to create high-spec movie and data discs at a bargain price!

They are rubbish. After a few months or a year later, the data starts to corrupt on the disc (C2/PIF errors) making the data unreadable.

Data degradation happens on about 7 discs out of 10 in my experience.

Agreed, they are useful as coasters when they eventually do become void.
