The rooms like very snug oOhttps://static.wowcher.co.uk/images/deal/189834/58011-travel.jpg

Doesn't look like the top bunk has a guard rail?

How would you even get to the top bunk?!

No rail on the top bunk, not great for little ones.
It's ridiculous and a deal breaker for me

They all have rails and ladders, just not in the picture

Is there enough rides to keep a 5 year old girl entertained?
#45
Yeah don't walk :/
#46
Thought of a hotel room with a view into a shark aquarium. Looks more like a prison cell with led's and a picture on the wall.

Good deal though.

Thank you op for this, we love Thorpe Park. Just booked in March for myself and my girlfriend for her Birthday. I think £136 all in for two days of tickets, free parking, breakfast and early entry to the park etc is a really good price. Heat added!

Must be great to have a girlfriend :-(

Instead of feeling sorry for yourself or posting comments to arouse sympathy why not take the matter into your own hands? There are plenty of dating services that you can use to find someone.

There is alsways someone out there for everyone. Its just the finding part that is tricky!

Not really, this park is very much aimed and full of teenagers
5YO much better suited to chessington or legoland
#54
wheres the option for all inclusive?
#55
Heat for the bargain, unfortunately I have a 3 year old and there is nothing for her to do at Thorpe. We tend to go to Alton or Chessington for a family day out as she can go on a lot of rides :)

Great if both kids are under 12. 3 to 11 charged as kids go free. 12-15 'young adults' charged as adult even though still staying in family room with bunk beds. I have a small 13 year old so wouldn't really be that much of a bargain for us. For family of 4 with 2 kids 11 or under this is a really good deal so heat added even though not for me! (_;)

Make out the 13 yr old is a big 11 yr old (_;)

Why not put a parent up there and let your kid sleep in the double bed?!

I wouldn't want to risk sleeping up there never mind one of my kids oO

I'm sure there must be something to stop you falling out when you're actually there, these just look like marketing photos (not very good ones at that :p )

Where does it say free parking etc?

Where is the all inclusive link?

Room looks awful

I would but his voice has recently broken so may not quite get away with it!

Shame the park is very small and one day is more than enough...
#66
It's a good deal, the rooms are small but functional. If you book as just as 2 adults, they fold the bunk into the wall to create more space. I would personally say the rooms are better if you have older kids. There isn't a terrible selection of rides for a 5 year old, my 4 year old has tonnes of fun. The fastrack is good for cramming in rides before the park gets busier, I think we managed 4 or 5 before the time ran out. I wrote a review of my stay here

Are the rides at Thorpe park too scary for an 8 yr old?

The bigger ones.. Perhaps. It really depends on the child. Off the top of my head, rides suitable for that age and younger -

X
Storm Surge
Mr Pigs Dodgems
Quantum (possibly)
Rapids
Flying Fish
Depth Charge
Angry Birds 4D
The Enterprise ride which I've forgotten the name of.
Rush (possibly)
Mr Monkey's Banana Ride

As I said, it depends on the child, my 4 year old is hardcore, my 13 year old, not so much!

Charged as free because over 12s will enjoy the park more.

Great price but my kids are to young for it.

Heat though for the price.

Iv taken my daughter the last 2 years and she is 8 - I know there is a lot of roller coasters but we filled the day up with water slides the smaller rides and the small beach area so there is something for everyone there

No there is plenty for an 8 year old
#71
2 adults in May £115 total. Good price.
#72
£109.90 for mid May.
Word of warning once you book it on their website, and process through the payment, it says there is an error with the booking. Credit card has been charged twice for the same booking and no confirmation from Thorpe Park. Ended up emailing them to get it sorted out. Hope no one else has this problem.

anyone know if theres any further discount for annual pass holders?

No, generally you'll never get AP discount on discounted rates. Look at the merlin holiday club, the prices might be a little lower.
#75
This place suitable for kids age 3 and 6?

Ffs just noticed at the top of the "confirmation" page :
There has been a problem making your booking as your selected package is now unavailable. Please call our customer experience team on 01303 490034.
Hi mate i also received this but i paid with paypal. I've called thorpe park and they said they haven't received any payment. I did get a confirmation email from paypal, it's getting confusing because no money has been taken out. I don't want to rebook it unless i know money won't go out from this booking. Any advice from anyone?

Booked a date and everything went through but they said there were problem booking. Booked again on Saturday on a different date, same thing happened. Got a text from Natwest today saying the payment has been approved. Con men taken my money TWICE and I have no holiday. Very very poor service avoid
#78
Update: after a very long phone call things got sorted. Best thing to do is to call them rather than booking online.

That requires too much logic.

These are tiny shipping containers as you may of read, condensation is a problem in these as is the heating/aircon unit as it is loud and you need it on all night to cope with the condensation, there is a metal grillidge walkway on the outside that flat footed kids run up and down it at 6.30am rocking the shipping container!! I wouldn't stop in one again, however the breakfast is good and the fast track tickets till 11am are worth every penny ! In the hotel at night there was no entertainment for the kids apart from some crap garden games, table tennis and an arcade to eat up more of your cash !! Alton Towers seems way better by far if you can travel
