If it's your first time in Vegas I'd consider staying somewhere on the strip. The Westgate is quite a way North of the strip and the hotel is just ok. The linq, flamingo or even NYNY would all be much better options, if you fancy downtown. The D is $30 a night on travel zoo and the golden nugget is a beautiful hotel with a nice pool to consider too.

I'd also agree 4 days from the UK isn't enough, our first time was 4 days and by the time you have settled in, your head in home. We did 7 days last and wasn't sure if it was too much, but went back this year for another 7. Totally different holiday, much more relaxed and got to see other parts of nevada.
I really hope we get some more general flight deals to the likes of NYC and LAX, right now the flights in july are $$$$

4 nights is far too short , can take you 2 days to get over jetlag and get into Vegas time , 7 nights is a min , we go every year , going next week , 8 nights at the Vdara and BA flights , £600pp through Expedia
You won't get jet lag on the way out, just stay awake - you'll get jet lag when you come back as you'll lose the time - have flown to the states/Caribbean every yr for the last 12 yrs and never an issue when I get there

Not actually true, you will get Jet lag both ways. Jet lag doesn't necessarily mean being knackered its just your body clock adjusting so that first morning when your up at 4am is still jet lag.

For what its worth this deal is pretty crap its such as "look how cheap you could go to vegas for". Nobody in their right mind would fly to vegas for 4 days and the Westgate isnt a hotel I would ever consider recommending to anyone, its very dated, off strip and very much a hotel where the vast majority of people will be there to gamble their houses away.

Cheapest we could find for mid sept (kids back at school) for 6 days 5 nights was £650 Virgin flights via Seattle and Atlanta (direct with a good airline is at least £1000) MGM including resort fee for double queen room is £288 for 5 nights.
Basically you pay for what you get...
If you're not bothered about one stop, you can fly from major airports in Ireland to Vegas for less than £400 roundtrip and that's usually a good airline.

Yes you can that is right, absolutly crazy that I go from Gatwick Easyjet to Dublin, to fly from Dublin to Gatwick enroute to Vegas for less, than just boarding at Gatwick!

What's a grand between friends...?

I think a mobile deal is a bit different from a holiday to Dubai costing £1700 per person (_;)

£720 is not too far from £1700

i phoned and said i was having trouble booking online, i didnt give any specifics the girl blurted out everything that was happening.
"Hello I'm having trouble booking the 14 night Dubai holiday and flights for £25 that others on the internet have booked..."Basically what you did was guraentee any slim chance of this slipping through and the OP (and others) getting the deal was eliminate. Nice work.

then why did the girl already know everything?

once again...and for the last time. i didnt mention any dates destinations or prices. id be suprised if you get an email saying that unfortunately they wont be honouring this deal on the sole basis that i phoned in.
