From the height of the television show's popularity, this full-length movie features all four of Batman (Adam West) and Robin's (Burt Ward) most dastardly and cunning adversaries: the Penguin (Burgess Meredith), the Joker (Cesar Romero), the Riddler (Frank Gorshin), and the Catwoman (Lee Meriwether), joining forces to take over the world thanks to a De-Hydrator that turns people into piles of dust. The dynamic duo pull out all the stops, with a BIFF! and a KA-POW!, to stop the bad guys.

Quite possibly the best film ever made... I've said it before but I'll say it again, bomb scene and heroic porpoises do me in every time!

Camp as a drag queen convention...but oh boy what fun. excellent deal.

Zork !!!

i love how they changed the artwork to try to give it a feel of the current rebooted Batman franchise.

when in fact it couldn't be further from it !! reminds me of that classic simpsons episode, "Millhouse Gets Famous" - when they show a clip of the 1960's Radioactive Man series - a great take on 1960's Batman ! lol

I can remember seeing this film at the cinema when it was originally released and having a supporting 'B' movie too 'cos that's what they did then. Ah, nostalgia, it ain't what it used to be. ;-)

Got the DVD last year from Zavvi at £3. The film's just as daft now as it was in 1966, but all the more enjoyable for it.

Apparently Adam West was right ticked off when he was 'overlooked' for the 1989 Batman movie in favour of Michael Keaton. Ahem.

Riddler: You and your trained, exploding shark!
Penguin: How was I to know they'd have a can of shark repellent Bat-spray handy?

Picked this up recently on blu-ray and it looks stunning in HD! However, this is a great price for the SD release of probably the most camp film ever made. Voted hot.
